Q: "I have been doing Oxycise! faithfully for 3 weeks, but haven't seen any change on the scale yet. What am I doing wrong?"

A: Keep up your great efforts, they WILL pay off. The more you do Oxycise!, the more effective your workouts will become and it may just take more time for your body to make changes that can be seen and measured. But the scale is not the only way to measure your progress.

Try to use lots of energy in workouts and lots of air in your breathing (both inhales and exhales). The more you put into Oxycise!, the more benefits you will enjoy.

You should not feel exhausted after an Oxycise! workout -- in fact, most people describe Oxycise!
as invigorating -- But you SHOULD try to do the workouts "with gusto" as Jill says, really filling your lungs with oxygen and breathing out with lots of power. You should also really flex and
work your muscles as you do the different body positions.

Some people need to lose excess fat. Others need to gain back muscle mass. Some people need to tone and strengthen their muscles. Depending on what your body needs and how much excess fat your body has, you may see changes on the scale in time. But the most effective weight loss for most people will happen at an average rate of 1 or 2 pounds per week. Keep your eyes out for other signs that your body is getting healthier: increased stamina, stronger muscles, better sleep, better-fitting clothes, greater sense of well-being, improved skin, etc. These are some of the many ways your body may tell you, "Hey, I LIKE all this extra oxygen you're giving me!"

Q: Are the more advanced Oxycise! workouts more effective in burning fat than the beginning levels?

A: Not necessarily. If you do the Basic Breath with lots of energy and air volume, and really flex and tighten your muscles, you can get just as great a workout doing Level 1 as you can with any other workout. It's HOW you do the workout that matters most -- more than WHICH workout you do.
