quest for the body you want and deserve! "I didn't notice results immediately, in fact, for the first four weeks, nothing! But then dramatically, people noticed (almost overnight) that my face looked different, and my clothes were much looser. I have dropped almost ten pounds since doing your program." ~ Carol ********************************************* Customers often ask, "Why aren't I seeing dramatic results like some of the people I have read about on the website?" Some people really DO see dramatic changes in weight and/or inches in the first few weeks of doing Oxycise! -- but many individuals experience changes at a slower pace. Some people have said that the first benefit they noticed after beginning to do Oxycise! was more energy. Others have mentioned sleeping better. Many Oxycise! participants have reported lower blood pressure, lower resting heart rate, and lower LDL cholesterol readings. Others have mentioned seeing changes in their facial appearance, or firmer muscles, or better skin condition. A few have even said their fingernails are growing faster than usual! Every Oxycise! experience is different because each body is different. If someone does not seem to be experiencing ANY positive changes, they may be using too little effort and "muscle power" in the workouts. Or there could be a problem with their breathing technique. One of the most common mistakes people make is forgetting to RELAX during the inhale. You can't take in much air if your abdominal muscles are tight, so always relax your abs when you inhale -- then Lift and tighten at the end of the inhale. If you have questions, please write to us. Jill Johnson suggests testing your body fat percentage every month or two, so you can monitor positive changes happening on the inside as well as the outside. Most gyms and health clubs will do this test for no charge. Jill also recommends that you weigh every day. This will help you to understand that it's normal for weight to fluctuate up and down by a few pounds every day. By "keeping score" carefully you will get to know your own normal weight range, so you can be more aware of real changes as they occur over a period of time. Jill also recommends measuring very carefully once a week. If you want to keep track of other numbers like blood pressure, resting heart rate, cholesterol levels, etc; you will probably see additional positive changes. Here are some additional comments from Jill: "I've had so many personal emails about expected results with Oxycise! that I thought I'd share some thoughts here. "First of all, you MUST remember that none of you are robots and all of your bodies are in different conditions. As you've read, some people start Oxycise! and have dramatic results within the first week (I've had people lose 5 inches off of one measuring spot alone. I even witnessed a man lose 1.75 lbs. during one 15 minute session.) There are also people who make very little change the first week or month, however, start to show change after being consistent for a time. (One woman wrote me who played around with Oxycise! for a couple months and made little change, then something happened and she lost 10 lbs. in 12 days and went from size 14 to size 10 jeans.) "One thing that I've noticed in my personal life is that making the original body change takes the most effort and attention. After you arrive at a good size and state of health, it is fairly easy to maintain. That is my favorite part of Oxycise! -- I can maintain for the rest of my life. (It's already been over 12 years.) "So just keep at it day after day, and you will arrive! When I tell people I lost 50 lbs. in 6 months, they think 'I can do that' but somehow don't realize that during those 6 months, you will have weeks when you don't measure a lot of change -- and it's during those weeks that you need to stay self-motivated and consistent. I saw a [TV]show once that a guest could detect illness by looking in a person's eyes and mouth. They said, 'If you have a crack on your tongue, you have digestive problems.' So I looked and I had a crack in the middle of my tongue... I suffered with it using Mylanta, Tums, etc. "Then Oxycise! came along. I'm not one to buy into stuff I see on TV, or I never was, I guess I should say. But when I listened to what they were saying it made a lot of sense. I certainly notice the difference when I am not finding the time to Oxycise! I am an RN at a boarding school, working nights, and it takes time to readjust to the schedule every September. I just didn't get to my Oxy routine every day and after a few weeks, I just didn't feel as well. So, now I'm on track and have lost the few pounds that crept back while I wasn't looking and I feel stronger. "Over the past few years, I have used Oxycise pretty regularly and have lost 25 pounds and many inches. The best thing is that I have avoided saggy arms and multiple chins!!! I'm still hoping for a decrease in bust size but perhaps that is just not to be!" My waist is a bit smaller and I find that I can ease any strains in muscles when out walking, getting up in the morning or doing those things that might stress a muscle, by going through a number of Oxycise! breathing routines.
