"I love it! I am 40 years old and let me tell you that the myths that you can't lose weight after you're 40 are hogwash! At first I was very skeptical because like many of you, I have tried almost every conceivable gimmick to get it off. And there really didn't appear to be much progress in the first 3-4 weeks but beyond that, my weight loss has taken off. When I started this program I weighed 244. This morning I weighed in 222. Wow! 20 lbs! Obviously I have a long way to go to reach my goal weight, but I breathe every day in the car and at home, and sometimes at work. It's well worth it to HANG IN THERE. Don't give up. It really does work."

Hi there!
...thanks again so much. And....as of today another 1.5 pounds off. I simply cannot believe the results I am having after 20+ years of trying. Unbelievable!

"I like the Oxycise! program. It is easy and invigorating. I've lost a few inches since doing the program, but notice the most improvement in my stamina. In fact, I was very dedicated to doing the program for the first several weeks after I received it and found I simply felt better doing the breathing exercises. Then, because of several time-consuming commitments during the next couple of weeks, I didn't do the program as regularly and found the biggest difference I noticed was how tired I felt. I truly missed the extra oxygen I was receiving by doing the Oxycise! program. I started back on the program and have regained the physical "high" I felt before letting up."

"Yes, my muscles do feel harder, especially the obliques, lower abs and upper arm area...I feel my best at 115 pounds and a size 6 (I'm 5'3) Right now I'm 135 and a size 8/10 and not really comfortable in this size. Some of the people that are larger would probably laugh at me and tell me to be thankful. When I'm 115, I'm not bone thin or even "skinny" just comfortable. I don't think that's an unrealistic goal. I wasn't starving myself when I was 115 at 29. I'm 42 now. I know dieting doesn't work and I don't do it at all. So I plan to keep at it. I feel confident it will work for me in time. Do you play oboe professionally? The increased breath control is great isn't it? I loved the recent quote from the opera singer in the newsletter. Very reaffirming and validating."

Long, strong Fingernails

"I have been reading many messages where people talk about the other benefits of Oxycise! i.e., increased energy improved skin and hair etc. I wanted to mention something that I have noticed since incorporating "breathing" into my daily routine. I wore sculptured nails for most of the last 24 years. I took them off July of 98. My nails are sooo long and strong now that people think they are not my own. The tip extended past my finger is easily 1/2 the length of the nail bed and all I do is keep clear polish on them. They are so long that I have to file them back. Has anyone else noticed this?"

Oxycise! After Surgery

"I just had shoulder surgery 3 weeks ago. I started a few Basic Breaths every day, every time I thought of it. I have been to physical therapy for the last 2 weeks. Also I have begun Level 1 which I modify to do no shoulder involvment. My Therapist today told me she can't believe how fast the strength has come back in my arm and what great range of motion I have back. Could it be the Oxygen? I think it has helped me alot. Thanks!"

"Okay, you're cruising the web and you ended up here. You've already been to every other site concerning exercise and weight loss, and your brain is a blur. You ask yourself: "Is this different, or is it just another marketing ploy designed to separate me from some more of my money?

"I was right where you are two months ago. I had tried every fad diet and exercise gimmick to come down the pike and the only times I had ever actually lost weight were when I was sick. By the time I saw the infomercial on Oxycise!, I was resigned to never being anything other than what I was. (Okay--I'm not THAT bad a person, but what looked back at me from the mirror was a sack of flour tied in the middle.)

"Was I skeptical? Yes, and heartily so! In fact, except for the fact the Jill Johnson seemed like such a NICE person, I can't imagine what it was that compelled me to order. (I generally watch infomercials to be amused. Ron Popeil never fails to make me giggle.)

"I ordered and decided to give it two months of effort. After all, what's fifteen minutes a day? BUT--I was stubborn and skeptical, and refused to do ANYTHING else. I wasn't going to change my eating habits, I wasn't going to add any additional activity or take any supplement other than what I generally take. It was going to be the 15 minutes of Oxycise! working or nothing.

"The first couple of weeks I didn't lose an inch because I wasn't doing the breath right. I was SURE I was, but I was sneaking exhales on the three sniffs and inhales on the three puffs. I WAS getting a lot more oxygen than I was used to, though. I had swollen lymph glands in my neck from trying to get the flu, and they disappeared in the first three days. I also increased my water dramatically, to 96 oz. Previously, water was merely a vehicle for turning ground beans into coffee.

"Near the end of the second week, I found this site. It's WONDERFUL! The people are friendly and encouraging and helpful. And Julie, the Patron Saint of Oxycisers, is always there to answer questions. She also forwarded a tip sheet on breathing that got me on the right track.

"What a difference doing the breath right made! I could FEEL it when it was right. It wasn't so much being sore--like with other excercise--it was a good feeling.

"Okay, so what happened? It's been two months. And really, that's not counting the first two weeks--and not counting a four day period when I couldn't breathe from allergies ...and another four day period when I kept putting it off and never got around to it. Here goes:

"I measured my rib cage, waist, hips, upper arms and thighs. From these I have lost 16.75 inches in what amounts to six weeks of regular Oxycise! AND that is Oxycise! ALONE, once a day. The only other thing I did was add drinking water (and running to the toilet until I got used to it).

"In addition to the inch loss (I do not weigh...EVER) I have noticed a dramatic increase in energy. My concentration has improved (Oxygen is actually getting to my brain now). And I know I am increasing in muscle because the "Squush Potential" is almost gone. (You know what the "Squush Potential" is? You measure the right way, then measure again, squushing your innards until you almost cut off your circulation. Right before you lose consciousness, you have your "Squush potential." I used to could get a good three or four inches of potential--now I can barely squush an inch.)

"So, to anyone out there wondering "Does this really work?" I can tell you this: it is sure working for me. And I am not even the model Oxyciser. As far as I am concerned, it is a miracle."

Oxycise! Helps His Aches and Pains

I Oxycise! whenever I can and have been doing fairly well with that lately. One notable positive I thought I'd pass on - Softball season has started - a longtime enjoyable activity for me. However, especially as I've been pushing 40 over the past few years, the enjoyment has been tempered by numerous aches and pains and, in particular, back and neck injury. I'm very pleased to report that after two games, the aches and pains are   noticably lessened - and my back feels solid. (and that even after some nut barreled into me at third base while I was taking a throw!)."

"It's hard to believe something this easy works!"

"A few years ago, I tried a different breathing/exercise video program, with little success. About two months ago, I pulled my videos out again in hopes that perhaps "this time" things would be different. Maybe I needed to do something differently to get different results. I decided to surf the Internet to learn more about how oxygen affects weight loss. That's when I came across your website!

"After spending about 2-1/2 hours at your website, learning about how Oxycise! works, reading some of the testimonials, reading Jill's story and seeing Jill's before and after photos (I want to look like that!), the seed was planted to try Oxycise!

"The next day, I wrote an e-mail message to Oxycise! to ask more about the program and was pleasantly surprised to see a response within less than 24 hours from Nancy and Julie--"real people" who sounded very down-to-earth! I think that's what finally sold me on ordering the Oxycise! program--the great service and the caring responses I received.

"I ordered the Oxycise! Level One and Level Two videos, the audio tape and the Oxycise! book near the end of May. They were in my mailbox by May 31st and I started the program on June 1st. (Ironically, it was June 1st, 1983, when I met my husband for the first time! I was a size 5-7 then and very happy with my weight and appearance.)

"I usually do either Oxycise! video at least once a day, sometimes both, and at least six days a week, alternating each video for variety. (I haven't used the other program since starting Oxycise!) When I'm driving in the car 15 minutes or more, I do the Oxycise! audio tape. When I started the Oxycise! program, I marked my measurements in red marker on one of the measuring tapes provided so I could clearly see my progress.

"As of July 1st, (one month later), I had lost over 5 inches in total (I have been measuring myself in six areas), with the majority in my waist and my arms. It's wonderful to see the new marker line moving away from the old measurement--in the right direction! My hips and thighs have been more stubborn with very minimal inch loss. However, my cellulite in these two areas has noticeably improved. My legs look more toned and they are starting to show better definition--I'm on my way, anyway.

"I have not lost any weight yet, in fact I have gained two pounds, but I recognize that I have been eating more calories than usual and, as confirmed by Julie at Oxycise!, muscle weighs more than fat. My abdomen, especially my waist, is much more toned and looks flatter than it has in some time--my husband has also commented that he's noticed a difference.

"The best part is that I went to the store to buy a pair of shorts and I have lost one size! I even tried on a different pair of shorts in size 10 to make sure it wasn't just a different fit. I can't tell you how thrilled I was! I have been wearing a size 12 for the last two years and this is the first time I was able to wear a size 10 in probably ten years! (The clothes that I am wearing now are probably going to soon need to be taken in or replaced. Darn, I hate to shop--just kidding!!)

"When I came back to work from the store, beaming after buying my new shorts, I told some of my co-workers and they wanted to know what I was doing! I explained the Oxycise! program and demonstrated the Basic Breath. I told them how easy it is and how little time it takes to do each day. They were asking how to visit your website. One of my co-workers explained the concept to her aerobics instructor who believes it makes sense as she uses deep breathing for healing.

"Another benefit has been the increased energy level. When I feel really tired at the end of the day, I do one of the Oxycise! videos and feel energized and ready to go again!

"Over the years I have tried many other programs with very little long-term success, some with no success--if I lost weight, it came back with a few extra pounds. In fact, when I told one of my sisters that I was starting Oxycise! she said, "It's just another flavour of the month. You've tried the Jane Fonda workout, aerobics, the stepper, Body Flex, etc., and now this. Well, let me know if it works." Well, IT DOES! I am amazed at how simple it really is and how little effort and time it takes. It's hard to believe something this easy works! This is something I KNOW I can stick with!

"I only did the other breathing program when no one was around because of the strange breathing technique and facial expressions needed to do it as it is taught--I found it was just too embarrassing to do in front of or within earshot of others. With Oxycise! I don't feel embarrassed or self-conscious, I "just do it!" Jill is down to earth and explains everything so well and the other participants on the videos are easy to relate to.

"One of the things I have found that keeps me so motivated is to read the testimonials on your website. Everyone's success level is different but encouraging. I have spent more time at your website visiting each section, enjoying all I have read. Your website is wonderful and very well organized! I also enjoy receiving your OxyChat! newsletter. It's nice to keep in touch with you! It's also neat to read the e-mails sent in to the OxyCenter with questions/answers, and words of encouragement.

"It's exciting to be doing something that offers so much hope to shed these unwanted pounds I have carried around for years. "Well, Oxycise! has done it again for me!!! Today, I went to the store to buy myself some new jeans since all my other jeans are too big now, and lo and behold, I've dropped another size. I actually got to buy a Size 8 pair of jeans--I haven't worn a size 8 since before I was married! That's two sizes I've lost in just 2-1/2 months! I swear I was almost touching the ceiling when I left the store!

Isn't it fun??? I remember the first time I fit in a size 12. I tried on several 14's and they were too big, so I started looking at the size 12 rack.

I kept thinking the the sales clerks were staring at me thinking, "What is that fat girl think she's doing trying to fit in a size 12."

I took 2 or 3 pairs of jeans into the dressing room, and they fit! I didn't trust the size yet, so I literally tried on 25 pairs of jeans in size 12 before I admitted to myself that I was actually that size. It was amazing to me.

"Yes, it was amazing to me, too (and fun!) I had to tell the clerk why I was so excited about trying on jeans!!! I told her all about Oxycise! and what a FANTASTIC program it is! I tried on a couple of size 10s before I realized it wasn't the make, it was ME! I had SHRUNK!!! I couldn't believe I was actually going back to the racks for the smallest size they sold!
