Retired Dancer back in shape with Oxycise!

"Just had to chime in here and say I used to be a professional dancer and now that I have 2 kids under 4, a part time job, and a house to clean I find it nearly impossible to come up with a gym routine, a ballet class or even a 45 walk at lunch. Oxycise! has saved my life by limiting the workout to FIFTEEN MINUTES. Like others have said, it is easy to commit to, since squeezing 15 minutes out of a day is do-able and realistic on a daily basis. I do it before the kids wake up or after they go to sleep. No more worries about weight

"My name is Rhonda Williams, I'm 34 years old and have been doing Oxycise! for approximately one and a half years. I've lost 20 pounds with not much change in my eating habits. I've eaten healthy for a long time since losing 50 pounds 9 years ago but had gotten down to a comfortable weight and my body refused to budge any more no matter how hard I tried. Since doing Oxycise!, I've managed to drop another 20 pounds slowly but surely. It's well worth the 15 minutes a day to have the reassurance that the weight will stay off. "Hi,
I am completely hooked on your program although I do not lose weight with it. Don't panic - hear me out. I started this program because I had arthritis in my neck (pretty bad) and had really hurt my Achilles tendon and I had a heel spur. By really hurt I mean that my leg was swollen to the knee. All of these things had been aggravated by lots of very aggressive exercise including Tae Kwon Do (I'm an over 50 lady black belt) and advanced step class with lots of pounding plus beginning tap dancing. I kept exercising through the pain for months - DUMB - until I could no longer walk. I was in very intense pain and frustrated because I couldn't move and couldn't exercise. I have a very tough job involving lots of travel and meetings and pressure and I really needed help.

"Your program did everything you said but weight loss. The stretching and breathing helped me with pain relief and helped promote healing to the very angry tendon. The relaxation was incredible. My secretary thought I had started taking drugs I was so mellow and relaxed. A very uptight person just melted away. My skin tightened up, my resting heart rate dropped, the occasional asthma went away, muscles started returning, inches dropped but no weight loss. In fact, I gained a bit. I put on my heart monitor and realized that I was not raising my heart rate enough because I was already so stretched out from prior months of exercise. In fact, the relaxing was having such a dramatic effect that I was burning fewer calories.

"However, because I was getting pain relief and healing the tendon I was able to slowly return to very vigorous activities - very carefully and wearing a neck brace. What a shock. I have been able to exercise with greater intensity than I have ever achieved in my whole life. I am building recovering muscles and strength faster because I am not fighting for oxygen as I have all my life in martial arts and exercise classes. Every morning I start with your exercise (Level 2) and then do an aggressive work out in the neck brace. I go to work in the "zone" - relaxed and intense. I try to do Level 1 in the evening perhaps followed by a Tai Chi or yoga or maybe some kick boxing. I still have arthritis but I now go days without any ibuprofen. I haven't had the strong pain killer for months.

"I am now dropping weight rapidly because I am getting the heart rate up. If I was a beginning exerciser my heart rate would have been way up there and I would have lost weight just doing the Oxycise! Frankly - after months of intense pain I don't care that much about the weight. It is so incredible to feel good again. I have to be very careful about the neck and I am using a special shoe insert for the heel but I am rocking and rolling and feeling great again. I cannot go more than 24 hours without using the program. I have ordered all of the new tapes and can hardly wait for them to come. Oh yes, I got a big promotion at work.

"My kids who played the tuba in competitive drum and bugle corps tell me that these are similar the oxygen drills that they use to increase lung capacity."

"I have been Oxycising! for 3 weeks now. The first week, I actually gained several inches. (So discouraging.) Then, the second week, I suddenly lost about 12 inches and was just blown away...so exciting. This week, I lost another 5 inches, which puts me about 9 inches below where I started. This is good. I have been keeping up with my body fat percentages since the end of January and so far it has gone from about 42% to 36% as of today. Pretty impressive."

Lisa mentions these additional results:

1. I have to walk to 4 flights of stairs to get to my office (we're on the 3rd floor.). I used to have to stop half-way up and rest, but now I don't. I'm still slow, don't get me wrong, but my recovery time is much, much quicker already.

2. My skin has begun to clear up and looks "fresher".

3. My breath support when I sing has improved and I can hit notes now that I haven't been able to in years!

4. I can actually feel that I am forming real abdominal muscles under my fat (I have quite a bit to lose).

5. I use a treadmill at the gym that my family and I are members of and I have had to increase the intensity to get a good workout because the lower program wasn't challenging enough any more. (P.S. my mother-in-law bought my family a membership to a gym for Christmas and it was really expensive. Telling her I'm not going to the gym because I am only Oxycising would be familial suicide. So, I enjoy the treadmill while my family does other activities.)

6. I have noticed an increase in my libido (much to my husband's delight.!)

7. I am having some mild insomnia, but I've noticed that even if I don't get enough rest, using a couple of "Oxybreaths" (is this a word?) or doing the commuter tape really helps me make it through the day.

A Letter to a Friend
Susan Madal shared her feelings about Oxycise! in a letter to a friend and sent us a copy.

"Oxycise!, in my opinion, is the best workout I've ever done and I was a certified exercise instructor for 12 years. You get the great health benefits without all the stress on the joints - perfect for those who suffer with joint problems.

"I have been Oxycising for a year now and would not give it up for the world. I haven't been sick during that time which is a great help to my immune system. If I get any type of infection it can trigger a flare-up so it's very important that I stay as healthy as possible. I weigh about 133 and am 5'5". That is a good weight for me and I wouldn't want to go below 128. I have pretty much stayed the same weight since I lost my initial 12-15 pounds. However, if I don't do Oxycise! for a few days I start to feel blah and flabby. Oxycise even healed my recti split that I developed while pregnant with my first child. All the careful ab work during my 12 years teaching aerobics never healed the split. Oxycise! did though. My abs are really, really hard and I don't do any traditional abdominal work.

"As a fitness professional the dynamics of Oxycise! make perfect sense to me and if someone likes to still do traditional workouts, Oxycise! can enhance their endurance and strength. I haven't had a flare-up in over a year (Coincidence? I think not) and even if I did, I could still Oxycise! Even if you're just sitting in a chair you can still do the breathing. I do the audio tape in my car every day while driving to work. It gives me energy for my day.

"Let's see what else can I tell you. I sing much better after Oxycising because it gets my lungs working properly and really warms up my vocal cords. I have osteoarthritis in my left knee and have minor bone deformity. If there is a particular leg position that is uncomfortable for my left leg, I just modify it. I have only had problems with Jill's "hurdler" stretch because I have to bend my knee back and it's uncomfortable. So, I don't do that one. I highly recommend you try this program. It's inexpensive and I think they return it if you don't like it. Oh, I went from a size 11 to a size 6 in about 2-3 months. I can't remember exactly except I know when I tried on my old shorts last summer they were all too big so I had to go buy some size 6's. Not bad considering I never wore under a size 8 when I was teaching up to 9 classes/week. If you try it, make sure you understand the breathing completely because that is the key. Watch Jill carefully and be dedicated to this program. If you do it, it will work. If you don't, it won't. Please keep in touch and let me know how you are doing."

"I have not updated lately, and it is overdue."

"I have not made a lot of progress numbers-wise. But I did reach my first big goal. I have finally gotten to the 50 lb mark. That felt Wonderful!!!

"My inch loss is 23. I only have my chest (3 & 3/4), waist (6 &1/2), hips (7 & 3/4), and thighs (5) measured. Those inches are the total since I began Oxycise!

"I wish there was a way to measure the way things rearrange. When numbers bother me, I can look over my body and usually find some body part that has shifted or made some form of change. These changes may not always be obvious when fully dressed. But it really helps me to know they are there. It's one of the things that gives me encouragement to keep going.

"People that I do not see often see changes and give me positive feedback. My husband, though, is my #1 Support on a day-to-day basis. He has been Incredible!! That means a lot with this sort of thing too.

"Due to health problems, I have not begun the upper body tape yet. I hope to be able to do it soon. I still am with the Level 2. I throw in Level 1 at times also.

"I would like to share my Oxycise! results with you. I have struggled with weight for several years and gained about 50 additional pounds with my pregnancy 3 years ago.

"In the middle of February, I started Oxycise! and had a starting weight of 260 (a size 24) I should also mention that I am 6' tall so I always told myself, 'I'm tall, so weighing in at 260 is not that overweight for my frame', which was a huge misconception on my part.

"Well I am happy to say that in 12 weeks I have lost 48 inches (I measure in 8 different places), have gone down from a size 24 to almost a size 20, and have lost roughly 20 pounds. I am looking to drop two more pant sizes to ultimately fit into a size 16 by Christmas. I actually have rediscovered my jawbone and shoulder blades again!!!

PS: "One more little tidbit, I usually measure on Mondays, but I measured today and in the past 5 days lost another 6 inches to make my total 54 inches. I measured about 3 times to make sure I was in exactly the same spot as the week before and sure enough. Needless to say, I am stunned with these results. I have recently added more 'Rip the Floor' and 'Torpedo One' reps and I think this has really helped."

"I started seriously doing Oxy on April 23 and I just rejoice to see the results in just a few days. I have lower back pain and if I do too much it hurts greatly. "I am a grandma to (8) eight grandchildren and I have been doing Oxycise! now for about 8 months.

"I live in Florida and visited my daughter who lives in Tennessee. While visiting her, she wanted to know if I wanted to try a new exercise program that she had started to use, and really felt it had helped her a great deal. She is a nurse, so I thought, if she thinks it is a good deal, I'll try it with her. It was so funny, we were doing the Oxycise!, and she has three little boys, that joined in with us. They were enjoying it as much as we were. I liked the idea that I could be all cleaned up, and ready to go shopping, and be able to do my Oxycise! without getting all sweaty. It was hard for me to believe that something this simply could really work. LET ME TELL YOU, IT DOES WORK!!!!! I am not one that steps on the scales everyday, but I can tell in the way my clothes fit that I have lost a lot of weight. What I like most about it is the fact that it takes care of the bloatiness that I have when I don't do the Oxycise! daily.

Better Health and Lots of Extra Benefits 

"I learned of Oxycise! one night last summer when I was unable to sleep and was watching infomercials. I have tried many programs, diets, and exercises and have remained overweight most of my life. This sounded painless, low key and the people who had found success with it seemed so sincere. I thought, why not? I already had wasted a small fortune on videos and programs, and I had enough deserted equipment to open a gym - what's one more? But yet in my heart I really wanted this one to work. I was not as concerned about my size as I was concerned about my health. I am only 42, yet I had noticed more and more that it was difficult to fill my lungs with air. My heart also seemed overstressed. I had difficulty walking the two flights of stairs in our school, and I often felt sluggish and lethargic. I had lower back pain so severe that I often had to hang on to the headboard to roll over in bed. I knew if I didn't do something, I would never be able to lift grandchildren up into my arms.

"I started Oxycise! in September. I did the level one workout every morning-five days a week. At first I didn't really notice anything other than the fact that I had more energy and was less lethargic, which is really important as I teach first graders. For this reason alone I continued to do it.
