Finally slimming down after years of walking (and
just a few weeks of Oxycise!)

I also experienced some post-surgical swelling in the arm. I've been to physical therapy for extended periods and that certainly helped somewhat. Update from Renee "Hi Julie! "My flexibility continues to improve on a weekly basis, and I know it's because of Oxycise! Nothing else has had such a profound, positive impact on my overall well-being. Even intensive physical therapy sessions didn't help me this much. It's truly amazing how something so straightforward and simple could make such an enormous difference. I find myself doing the basic breath throughout the day when I think of it, and I find it helps me keep my energy up and thoughts positive. I've also incorporated it into other types of exercise such as riding my bike or walking on the treadmill with great results. "Thanks so much for everything that you and Jill do. Kristy from Down Under "I would like to say thanks to the ingenious person who put Oxycise! on Australian infomercials!! My mother ordered it off TV and introduced me to it. Before beginning college I never had to worry about my body and what I ate because I wasn't leading such a sedentary lifestyle. But after starting, I found I was fast losing tone all over, even gaining extra kilos (or pounds!!! :>). I've never been a big exerciser as I have chronic allergies/sinusitis and frequently experienced burning in my chest. Needless to say, Oxycise! did prove a little difficult in the beginning but with proper treatment by an allergist for the nose, I began the breathing on a regular basis. I'm now gaining back tone in my body and getting rid of those few extra kilos (pounds!) I put on. I play squash a couple of times a week and don't get puffed so easily and the best thing... no burning sensations in my chest. Oxycise! has improved my way of life and is helping to keep my sinus problems under control..." Kristy P.S. John: inspired to Try Oxycise! After Seeing His Wife's Improved Fitness "Hello all, I'm Barbara's husband. [See Barbara Schultz, "Smiles of Success"] Yes, I watched Barbara do Oxycise! for a year with considerable skepticism. I had seen her lose weight, but from my perspective 15 pounds was hardly losing weight. But she did keep it up and seemed to be fitter and that's what turned me around. Both [my wife] and I have been taking TaeKwondo for about three years and are now almost red belts (two levels below black belt). TaeKwondo had helped me get in better shape e.g., flexibility. I also bicycle to work in the summer and generally drop five pounds every year, but then Christmas comes, and I'm sure you know the rest. So I started Oxycise! to get fitter with not much expectation of losing weight. Well, as Barbara has mentioned, I've lost almost 30 pounds (I seem to be at a plateau, but I am not in a hurry). "I have to say it is great to be a thinner person. I have had to put seven new holes in my belt; I [went from] something like a comfortable fit at size 40 to a slightly snug size 34. My flexibility has improved greatly. At TaeKwondo Class the acclaimed consensus is that I am the most improved adult in terms of flexibility. During our stretch warm-up I am able to stretch my side kick above my head. I have also beaten my record in bicycling home and am feeling fitter than I've felt for years. "I was skeptical of some aspects of the breathing at first. Being a natural deep breather, I wasn't sure I wanted to try to "sniff" in three times while I was tightening my abdomen. I think it took me some time to actually tone my abs enough that I could start doing it properly. I twigged on tucking the pelvis in, and lifting the abs. For the first two months all I could do was generally tighten my abs and hold be breath. Now however, I can feel the isotonic tension as I tighten and breathe....After about four months, I now feel that I have the breathing down pretty well, and am able to focus on making the positions more and more challenging. "My experience of losing weight involved a focus on eating sensibly. I can't say I dieted, but I have been purposefully eating less. However, I have not denied myself in any extreme way. Oxycise seems to make reducing my eating and eating more sensibly relatively easy. "In all, Oxycise! is great. It's only 20 minutes start to finish, no special equipment, I can do it every day (or almost 5/6 out of 7) comfortably, regardless of the weather. "I have been waiting 14 years for my energy to come back.." "Well, where to start? Around my 34th birthday my kidney decided to quit. After six years of suffering, I received a kidney from my sister, Florence, and started my road to recovery. My weight went down as the years passed, but I could never get my energy back or the fat off my middle. But this May, my wife and I were watching the program on TV and I called about ordering the program. May 23rd was the day I started the Oxycise! breathing program. I started with the basic positions, doing 30 reps a day for 30 days. It took me a week to understand the breathing technique, but once I got it my energy went through the roof. Competitive Cyclist Amazed at Intensity of Oxycise! Workout Deborah is a competitive cyclist who averages
100-300 miles per week. She is also a new Oxycise! customer. After having her
thyroid removed three years ago, Deborah slowly gained 20 pounds more than she
wanted. Her doctor advised her that the additional weight is "something she
will just have to live with." Deborah's response: In a Message Room post on October 30 Deborah wrote: "Granted, I am not obese (5'2", 128 lbs.), but my ideal weight is 108. That is where 'I' feel and look optimum. After reading through the information on this site, perusing the messages on this forum, and subscribing to the newsletter, I purchased the Oxycise program from the Q this morning." Improvement in depression, pain relief...and 12 pounds lighter! "I had my 3-month check-up last week with my neurologist. I started on Oxycise! at the last of August. When I went in for my appointment I was 1) not crying, 2) not depressed, 3) not in pain, and 4) 12 pounds lighter and many inches slimmer and wearing slim jeans. Oh, yes, and 5) getting successfully off pain meds. (I was the opposite of that description 3 months ago.) The nurse came in first and was delighted... wanted to know what I was doing differently. I told her about Oxycise!...she wrote it down and was very interested. Said they have so many patients who are unable to exercise and are very depressed and upset. Then when my doctor came in, he was even more impressed and also wrote down about Oxycise!, and I told him about the website. This is a well-known and respected neurologist who has been my doctor for 20 years. He knows where I've been and how hard I work at being healthy and slim. I loved that just seeing me and the changes, caused a physician to be so excited. I do Oxycise! every day. And I also follow Jill's "Fuel for Success". I am surprised that more people do not mention this wonderful book. I just wish I had ordered it when I got my video and first book. This is the easiest and most healthy way of eating, and I love never being hungry and not feeling guilty when I eat all I want. For me, and at my age, I see the best results when I follow FFS, and do Oxycise! daily. At first, Oxycise! was difficult for me, as others have mentioned, but I reasoned that if this many people think it's great and easy, that I wasn't giving up. It becomes 2nd nature so quickly."
