Former Fitness Instructor loves Oxycise!

"As an ACE certified fitness instructor who has taught up to 9 classes a week for over 12 years, I can tell you that Oxycise! works as well, if not better, than most 'traditional' aerobic workouts. When done properly, the Oxycise! breathing technique forces much more oxygen into the body than jumping around on steps, or floors. HDL cholesterol is the good cholesterol in our bodies which helps to rid our bodies of the LDL cholesterol.  HDL is only increased through aerobic exercise. My HDL cholesterol is now 72, which is very good, and when I was teaching 9 classes/week my HDL was 61. For it to increase by 11 points is incredible and Oxycise! is the only aerobic exercise I have been doing for the past two years. Oxycise!'s abdominal tightening technique has also healed my "recti-split" that was caused by having two very large babies. I was never able to heal my 'recti-split' with traditional abdominal work. I have also lost 12 pounds and kept it off in these last two years.  Oxycise! energizes me much more than all those aerobic classes did and it has also controlled by rheumatoid arthritis. I have not had a bad flare-up since I have been Oxycising. As Julie has stated, 'aerobic' means 'with oxygen' and in order to burn fat a lot of oxygen must be present. In traditional aerobic classes, you don't even start burning fat until about 12 minutes into the workout because you are increasing your oxygen intake at a very slow pace initially. And many people work at a much higher level than they should and end up working anaerobically, thus causing a shortage of oxygen and consequently not burning fat. Good luck to all of you who are making Oxycise! work for you. It can and it will work for everyone IF DONE PROPERLY."

Things are Looking Better!

"In 2 months' time I have lost 9" and the sort of haggard look that was reflected in my mirror is also gone! I do the exercises every day and will definitely continue because the benefits and rewards are so great. Weight-wise I haven't lost much, but that isn't important to me, as long as I see something (whether it is the scale or the tape measure) for my efforts. As a woman in the throes of menopause, weight reduction is very difficult. So when I see the numbers go down, I am ecstatic, to say the least! Jill's program is the best. It's easy and I absolutely love the short amount of time it takes to complete the series of exercises.  Afterwards, I feel rejuvenated and renewed and ready to attack the day. Previously, I must have walked from the moon and back with no results---rolled myself in exhausting and time-consuming positions with no results---and now, with just 15 or so minutes a day--the results are IN!!  It is truly unbelievable!!!  Another great part is the fact that I am not forgotten. By buying the videos, I became a customer but with the wonderful support I have received, and the motivating feed-back, I have become a friend. "Am I addicted?  You bet!"

"I just forced myself to weigh and measure for my 2nd month progress (was so scared! I knew I felt tighter, but what if all that hard work showed no loss?) Anyway, I made me do it and I have now lost 9 pounds, 2 1/2" from bust, 1/2" from hips, 1 1/2" from waist, 1" from thighs, and 3/4" from arms!!!!!!! I got the tapes over a year ago and never did them consistently or, I found out, correctly.  I had slowly and steadily gained between 70 and 80 pounds over the last 4 yrs. due to MS and all the meds, disability, etc. Oxycise! was my only hope because I can't physically do traditional exercises. And the best part is that I haven't had to diet to do this. Okay, maybe that's not the best part. The best part is the other benefits I've gotten in the last 2 months. Such as: (A) I had been going to physical therapy and the exercises I was given are remarkably like the Oxycise positions, but never gave me the flexibility I've gained from doing O! faithfully, and I'm walking so much better! (B) Other body functions work better too ;) (C) My energy has greatly increased. (D) My moods have mellowed out much more. In fact, the few days I've not been able to O!, I've been depressed. "Jill,
I'll begin by saying thank you. Oxycise! has helped me gain control over my weight again and restored my daughter's self-esteem.. Amy, the baby of the family, left for college this August. She's never been what one would call petite, and being away from home for the first time led to 'comfort eating'.  She became discouraged by the added pounds that were fluffing her figure. Despite her being an athlete, she's never shed pounds easily. I challenged her to join me in Oxycising (long distance) daily for a two and a half week period prior to Thanksgiving break, and I assured her I'd add my prayers for her diligence in doing the 15 minute workout. Knowing she was doing it gave me the added initiative to do my own workout. Needless to say, my clothing began to fit better, and my self-esteem was on the rise also.  We knew we would see a difference when she came home for the holiday, but I was amazed at the changes in her posture and figure. Her clothes fit altogether better. She noted the improvement in my appearance, as well.

"I love your program"

"Hi Julie,
I'm new to Oxycise! I've been doing it now for about a month. Started at Level 1 and progressed to level 2 now. I really like the benefits that O! delivers. I've lost a few inches from doing O! I certainly feel better as well. I love the stretches that are in the program, they remind me of a lot of the dance classes I had when I was a young girl.

"I was diagnosed with a heart condition two years ago, (I'm 34) and in the past two years I've gained 40 lbs.  I used to do weight training, but I found that I was getting burned out from it and always feeling tired. But now I've had to change my exercises a lot because of this heart condition I've got. I go walking and I do O!

"I was reading some of the messages on the boards and I came across something you said that intrigue me.  You said when you do the breathing you do the lift and suck in your stomach ... so it feels like your navel is going through your body to your back area. I found this interesting, and started using this technique (I would visualize my stomach doing this) as I did the exercises. It has really help me a lot, and now I'm flexing so much harder. Anyone who disputes O! really doesn't understand how much fat you can burn off just by 'flexing'. I learned this by weight training with very light weights and you flex as hard as you can. It doesn't build up bulky muscles, it builds rock hard ones. But with the combination of the breathing, the benefits are terrific!!

"What I did purposely a week ago is not do O! for a week to see the difference in how I felt. Well I felt sluggish, anxious (a little), didn't sleep as well, and I ate more (I was hungry more often)! This was a test for myself to understand what O! exactly did for me, I then realized how important it was for my health. I was quite amazed at the outcome."
