Mood Lifter
"One benefit of Oxycise! that I never notice until I stop doing it consistently is how it lifts my moods. I have been to counselors, psychologists, and even a psychiatrist over my short 24 years to be treated for depression, and they all agree I have a propensity for it. I have been on all the medications, from Zoloft to Prozac, but could not find any with side effects I could live with. I also tried the natural remedies, which did work well, but I was worried about long-term side effects (i.e. ones that may show up in ten years!) from taking it every day. Incidentally, mood disorders run in my family so I am sure this will always be a battle ground for me. I know this - because I have tried every single thing out there and NEVER have I had results like this. I think the problem is that most don't understand that all of our bodies and systems are different. There isn't any diet that is going to work the same for 2 different people. 21 Pounds and 18 Inches with Healthy Eating and Oxycise! "I finally did it. It took me since last September when I started eating healthier, then I started O! in January. I'm 43 years old and started out at 144lbs in September at 5"2". My goal was 120. Last week I hit 118.5 pounds. I am so excited. I've also now lost over 18 inches from O! "I do O! 6 days a week. "I can say I really love Oxycise!" "Hi Jill! "I was one of those people who tried a lot of diets. I decided I was going to try this one, besides it's only 15 minutes. I did the Oxycise! and felt really great. After two weeks, I lost 2 inches off my waist and 1 inch off my thighs. I can say I really love Oxycise! Not only because of the inches lost but the results I've seen in other areas. I sleep very well at night. I have less headaches. People have complimented on how vibrant I look. Oxycise! after Surgery "Recently, I underwent abdominal surgery to remove several uterine fibroids. Following surgery, I was instructed by my doctor to undertake no exercise for 6 weeks. Naturally, I was weak and swollen after this time period and feeling lousy from lack of exercise. As soon as possible, I began my Oxycise! program again. I started with the commuter tape in the car for 5 minutes at a time, and have now worked back up to the full commuter routine, then one of the videos in the evening when I get home. I am happy to report a reduction in swelling, increase in flexibility and increased comfort around the incision area. I would recommend Oxycise! to anyone recovering from a C-section or other abdominal surgery. By the way, my doctor has given me the approval for traditional sit-ups, etc., but I still find these much more uncomfortable and much less effective than Oxycise!" Thanks for listening,
"Dream Workout" "I have been doing Oxycise! for about a year, and I have lost several inches from my hips, thighs and waist. I really don't need to lose weight and that is not why I tried Oxycise! Abs Video Improved Her Breathing "I have been doing Oxycise! for about a year now. I have been a faithful exerciser, averaging at least 5 O! sessions a week for the past year. I have also been one of the 'super slow losers' who was getting discouraged about how long it was taking me to lose the weight I wanted to lose (about 10-15 lbs) and the belly that I acquired while I was pregnant with my now 19-month old daughter. About a month ago, I decided that I needed to step up the pace a bit and bought Level 2 and the Abs & Upper Body videos. I started doing Level 2 right away, but the Abs & Upper Body sat on the shelf for a couple of weeks. I finally broke it out about 2 weeks ago and I have to say, this video does the BEST job in teaching a person the RIGHT way to breathe. Jill does a very simple sample of it before you get started with the work-out, and then she coaches all the way through the work-out as well, saying 'Relax, Big Breath, and Tighten 1-2-3 and Out 1-2-3.' Or something to that extent. She does a really good job of reminding you to relax before each big breath. "What I realized is that for an ENTIRE YEAR, I have not been breathing the right way. I have also realized that for me to do these exercises correctly, and breathe the right way every time, I have to continue to watch the actual videos (I had resorted to just watching TV while I did the exercises on my own with Level 1 video and my pacing was waaaayyyyyy too slow to have it do any good.) "So, for the past 2 weeks, I have been doing 30 minutes of O! back-to-back. First, I do Level 2 and then immediately after that I do Abs & Upper Body. In 2 weeks I can see an amazing difference! I finally feel like I'm getting what everyone else has been talking about all along! My suggestion to you would be that you take a look again at the Abs & Upper Body workout video and use the same intro to the breathing on all the videos - it makes a HUGE difference, at least it did for me!" Even Busy Moms Can Find Time for Oxycise! "I have lost a total of 14 inches in about two months (3 inches off each thigh). I haven't lost a lot of weight, but I am fully breastfeeding my three month old, so I'm not really worried about that. With three daughters under the age of five, I love that I can O! in 15 minutes, I can do it in my home, and that its safe for my kids to do too. (they try to copy me, and I know they can't injure themselves! lol) "It used to take me FOREVER to fall asleep at night, now I just hit the pillow and lights out, and my resting heart rate has dropped from 90 beats per minute to 66 bpm! As well as all of that O! has given me the energy to want to exercise. I have begun walking again, and even started swimming!. I still have a long way to go, but O! is definitely going to be a part of the process. Losing Pounds and Inches -- and Others are Noticing! On April 3, Judi reported to us: "I am down 25 pounds since January of this year and, even though I never did measure myself, I know that my waist, etc. are smaller because I need to buy pants that are significantly smaller. I am also back into a bathing suit that I haven't dared to even try on since 1994." On June 4th, Judi sent the following update: "I went to buy some new bras last week, thinking that mine were a bit too loose. It turns out that my back went from a life long size 34 to a size 32. Though the cup size stayed the same, the fact that my back/rib measurement went down is more proof that Oxycise! really works big changes. I have worn a size 34 bra for my entire life, until now that is. I am still doing Oxycise! at least 5 and mostly 6 times per week. I have also gotten many friends, relatives and neighbors interested in it and ordering tapes. My sister, two nieces, three office mates and a friend from outside of work have all started Oxycise! after seeing or hearing about my loss. I have been maintaining my weight at 140 lbs. which was my goal weight when I started. It would be totally great if Jill were to make a "level 5" tape that really goes on from the level 4.
