No more Smoke! Just thought that I would tell you that I quit smoking for good because the deep breathing has taken the place of the smoke that used to fill my precious lungs. I have absolutely no desire to pick up this filthy habit again. Also, the deep breathing has caused my lungs to throw off the residual tar and although I cough up this phlegm from time to time, I thank God that my lungs are correcting the damage I have done for so many years. Also, I am able to hold notes longer when I sing. THIS OXYCISE IS GREAT.
Wearing Size 10 again! "A co-worker stopped me today and told me I looked thin. I've been called a lot of things, but never thin. As teen I battled with bulimia for about 6 years trying to control my weight. After nearly destroying my health, I was still plump so at age 22, I stopped and resorted to being plump. "I'm now 38 and started doing Oxycise! in August. I work for a major airline at the ticket counter checking passengers bags, it requires a lot of standing, turning and lifting. For the last ten years or so, I've had constant pain in my lower back and right hip. I was in pretty sorry shape. "It's now February, the pain is gone. I've caught myself at work tucking my pelvis and tightening my abs without trying to. I'm protecting my back now!!!!!!!! "I don't believe in scales and I don't own one but guessing, I've probably lost twenty pounds and not sure of the inches. I'm wearing my size 10 uniform pants to work now! A first in many years. "I just wanted to say thanks and to let you know I feel so strong, physically and emotionally. It's just nice knowing that the weight and health issues don't have to be such a battle anymore." Thanks again! Sincerely,
Fibromyalgia Linda suffers from fibromyalgia, but finds that she feels better on the days when she does Oxycise! She says that she has recently started doing Oxycise! at least six times per week and writes: "One thing I noticed is that my Fibromyalgia pain was much less pronounced on days after I did Oxycise! Something I read in a book called ' The Fibromyalgia Relief Book' by Miryam Ehrlich Williamson today finally explained that. She says, 'We [FM sufferers] tend to be subject to muscle spasms, which involve constricting the flow of blood and therefore of oxygen to the affected muscles. Various studies have found that people with Fibromyalgia often have insufficient oxygen in their blood and tissues, including the brain.' I suddenly have the explanation for why my shoulder muscle spasms are either mild, very intermittent, or totally gone on days I do Oxycise!, and why on days I skip because I'm too wiped out, I have almost constant pain. Thanks SO much to Jill for sharing Oxycise!, and not just for weight loss." In hopes of helping others who may suffer from Fibromyalgia, Lynn shares the following: "I also found another quote in an internet article on Fibromyalgia that may also be an encouragement for them. The author is Deborah A. Barrett, a doctor who has Fibromyalgia herself and details what she went through to try to get her FM pain to a more manageable level. She says, 'You can have weak muscles that hurt, or strong muscles that hurt. Although exercise will not cure the pain and exhaustion of fibromyalgia, muscle endurance increases our capabilities. The message in the medical literature is clear: people with fibromyalgia who are physically fit suffer less symptoms.' She also emphasizes listening to your body and working up the intensity of your workouts slowly to avoid suffering for it later. However, Oxycise! seems to be ideally suited to getting your body in shape while not over-stressing it. Sure seems to help my pain levels." Linda Myers
Tiffany's Progress -- Success in the Making "I've been overweight for most of my life, ranging from 'slightly' to 'severe.' Diets never work and I have such severe back problems, any kind of impact exercise is out of the question. In the last year, I've gained an additional 50 lbs. from other health problems, which has put even more stress on my back. Although I am in constant pain, mornings especially are agony for me; it takes me 10 minutes to get out of bed, I can barely walk and can't bend from the waist for at least an hour. My new chiropractor recently took some full x-rays and discovered that my cervical (neck) spine is actually curving slightly in the opposite way and three of my lower vertebrae have partially rotated sideways. He estimates that it will take a year of three-days-a-week treatment to correct all the vertebrae so they are back to a normal position. Because of my weight, he told me honestly, it might even take longer. "About six weeks ago, I was in so much pain and so desperate to do SOMETHING to get some weight off my back and my body that I ordered the Oxycise! tapes after discovering your Web site. It was hard for me to do at first and I was extremely sore after my initial Oxycise! workouts, but I made a commitment to myself that I would hang in there for 30 days. At the end of the first week, my back pain started to diminish. I have been doing Oxycise! for almost four weeks now and the pain in my back has lessened by about a third. I can get out of bed more easily, I no longer 'shuffle' when I walk and my back muscles are much stronger. My chiropractor is just thrilled with the improvement. "What I didn't do is weigh and measure myself before I started the Oxycise! program. I understand all the reasons for doing so, but the fact is, I am so ashamed of the weight I've gained that I don't want to know how heavy I am now. My pants and shirts are getting a little bit looser and I'm very happy with the progress I've made ... but I still can't bring myself to climb on a scale or take out the tape measure. I still have set goals for myself, which I agree is extremely important, but I do it without tracking the actual numbers. It is working for me and I know I will eventually get to the point when I am comfortable stepping on a scale again. "I know you hear it again and again ... the success stories about the new confidence and improved health that others have found with Oxycise! My story is not much different from theirs, but it is about a little bit more than just gaining confidence and health by losing weight. Anyone who knows what it's like to be in constant, wracking pain ... to have your spouse do the grocery shopping because you can't walk or stand long enough to do it yourself ... to take your beautiful 5-year-old niece to Disney World for her first time but become the official 'bag watcher' because you can't tolerate any of the rides ... to do all of your Christmas shopping over the Internet because you are petrified that someone at the mall might bump you the wrong way and put you totally out of commission for three months ... those people that have these kinds of problems need to know that there IS hope, you CAN get your life back and that Oxycise! is the key to joining the world of the living once again. "I plan to keep you posted on my progress and send some photos when I reach my ultimate goal. I can't thank you enough for creating this program and putting my life back into my hands again." Sincerely, Update: "I've lost a total of almost eight inches in the last month, even with my sporadic Level 1 workouts, and I feel so much better than when I wrote my original story I almost can't believe it. If there was any reason to stay motivated, that would take the cake just by itself...." Tiffany Update: "Well, it's been four months since I began Oxycise! and I am doing so much better than I could have ever hoped. I am still in the 'slow loser' category ... but I've gone down two sizes in clothing and have regained about 50% of my mobility. My back still needs a lot of work and I continue to have some 'bad' days, but the difference between then and now is nothing short of astonishing. I can go to the grocery store with only a minimum of back pain at the end, even if I'm there for an hour. And, at the beginning of July, we took my niece to Disney World again ... only this time, instead of just sitting on the sidelines watching everyone's bags, I actually rode some of the rides with her! It was such a thrill for me; I was at Disney walking around for 12 full hours that day and only had some moderate soreness at the end. "Also, in the past month my work schedule has become brutal ... 12- to 14-hour days working on a huge project that's due the end of September. I truly believe that if it wasn't for Oxycise!, there is no way that I could have maintained this pace so far, let alone for another two months. Although I'm tired, I'm not falling-down exhausted as I'm sure I would be if it wasn't for the help of Oxycise! "To anyone who is listening to the nay-sayers: 'oh, you will just lose water weight,' or 'you have to sweat and do lots of aerobic exercise to really lose weight,' or 'don't waste your money, it won't work,' I'd like to tell them just one thing. If you are listening to those kinds of negative people and not giving Oxycise! a chance, you are robbing yourself of one of the most wonderful, loving, healthy and miraculous things you could ever do for yourself. If you are letting them influence you despite the hundreds and thousands of incredible testimonials to the power of Oxycise!, then you will never know what it feels like to wake up full of energy, watch your clothes get bigger and baggier every day, or grow excited at the muscle definition you see forming all over your body. Oxycise! does work, it's a wonderful system, and everyone deserves to have the health and body benefits that Oxycise! can bring!" Tiffany Oct 30, 2001 "I've been Oxycising fairly consistently since March of this year. In that time, one of the biggest lessons I've learned is how dieting actually does us more harm than good. Jill teaches that dieting - pills, shakes, and severe reduced-calorie programs, etc. - contributes to the "starve-gain-starve-gain even more" cycles that so many of us have experienced. After my experience in the past month, I can personally say that she is definitely 100% correct. "I lost 21 lbs. with just Oxycise! from March until the beginning of October without changing my eating habits at all. At that time, I realized that my eating habits were getting worse since I was working many long hours. I had fallen into the pattern of no time for breakfast, no time for lunch, and then grabbing the first thing I could find when I walked in the door at night ... usually something high-calorie and not so good for me. Still, I was losing about 3 lbs. a month on Oxycise! so I wasn't too concerned at first. But then I started to wonder if I wasn't consuming too many calories and sabotaging my commitment to Oxycise. "I decided to keep a food diary for one week to track my eating habits. Imagine my shock when I found out that I was consuming less than 800-900 calories per day, far too little to be considered healthy. My metabolism had to be at a complete standstill. I decided that I was going to make a conscious effort to consume 1,200 healthy calories a day, spread over the entire day in small portions. "That was three weeks ago. In that time, I've gone from a 3 lb. a month to a 3 lb. a WEEK weight loss ... for a total of 30 lbs. lost since March. Between the wonderful benefits of my daily Oxycise! routine and my healthy food plan, my metabolism has kicked into gear, my energy is at an all-time high and I feel better than I have in years. "I found out from first hand experience that dieting and/or starving yourself will sabotage any good intentions you have about losing weight and staying healthy. Anyone who wants to lose weight needs to eat and eat well ... good, healthy foods like grains, vegetables and fruits, in addition to drinking lots of water. If you treat your body like the wonderful creation it is, the results are nothing short of miraculous!" Tiffany Taylor |
