"I would be glad to share my story.

"I started this routine in January as part of a New Year's resolution weight loss challenge at work. I started about 4 different things at once to increase my chances of finally losing weight. Oxycise! is the only thing I have really maintained all through and I won the challenge, lost 60 pounds and have kept if off for over a year now. Unlike everyone else I did not yo-yo. We weighed in every two weeks and I never went up at all.

"It is a great plan. Everyone tells me this can't be ALL I am doing, but it is the only consistent thing. I love that you don't have to do it all at once. "I gained about 8 lbs, and gained many inches while visiting my relatives in Canada for one month. When I returned, I HAD to get to normal because my daughter was being married in 2 months!! I started back on Oxy! daily - drinking lots of water and being more careful of my choice of foods. I measure and weigh myself each Saturday morning and write down the numbers. In 6 weeks, I lost the 8 pounds that I gained and ---- most importantly, I lost 7 inches. Imagine!! I was excited and shared it with all my friends. I know that many of them are now using the Oxy! plan as well.

"Prior to Oxy! which I have been using for about 1-1/2 years, I had tried everything --- and had all the sport injuries to prove it. I had done aerobics, tae bo (which resulted in a bad ankle injury which took months to heal). Besides that, I save a lot of money because I don't pay Club fees any longer. "I injured my shoulder about 3 years ago. Several times...in the same spot. I fell and hit it several times. I could not raise my arm because it hurt so much and was very stiff. When I first began to Oxycise! I would have to lift my right arm with my other hand, if I was doing a position that required raising that arm. If I reached for anything in my cupboard I would have to put my left hand on my right elbow and help that arm down or I would drop whatever I was retrieving.

"After about two weeks of Oxycising, I could move my right arm up and down with no pain. This was no fluke and no coincidence. It was great to move my arm up and down after three years of not being able to do it. I have had no problems for a year now, since I have been Oxycising, but as I mentioned before, I was very surprised when it started stiffening up again and hurting after several days of no Oxycising. It only took 2 or three days for it to feel good again. I am almost 65 and have osteoarthritis. When my legs are sore or stiff and my back hurts I find that if I Oxycise! a little extra it really helps.

"Sure it's work, but it is sure worth it. I don't understand why people are so slow to try this when someone who has experienced the benefits tells about it. I am so skeptical about so many things, but I have proven this to be good for me in more ways than one."

"I recently ordered 3 Oxycise! tapes (3, 4 and Abs/Upper Body), and I love them. Jill did such a great job with the pause and comment to relax, deep breath, scoop nearly every rep that I feel I am getting so much more benefit out of the workout than when I was doing just O! 1 & 2. And I'm sure I'll get more out of 1 & 2 now when I do them...

"Though my husband doesn't appreciate the breath technique (he's an avid biker, foul or fair weather, so he gets plenty of oxygen that way), he frequently does the workouts for the stretching.

"Thank you all so much for Oxycise! I feel like it's a routine I can stick to - just 15 minutes at a time and no frequent clothes changes and car rides to the gym (which just add more time to that required for a workout).

"I had gained about 40 lbs. in the last 4 years and kept having to buy bigger clothes. Although people told me I didn't look like I weighed as much as I did, I knew that I was uncomfortable. I tried different diets but wasn't really willing to do much exercise. My energy level was very very low and I suffered from depression. I found Oxycise! on the Internet and decided I had nothing to lose.

"I have to say that Oxycise! is the best thing I have ever found for weight loss and energy! In one week, I lost 5 lbs and could just about fit comfortably into my one size smaller pants. "I think it's important for everyone to know that you can accomplish your goals, just don't expect miracles to happen overnight. It took me 7 months to loose the 39 lbs. and 38.5" but I know that those pounds and inches won't be coming back. 'Slow and sure wins the race!'

"For the first time in about 5 years I will be looking at a summer weight under 300 pounds.

"For the first time in 20 years, I find I can't wear my rings and not because they are too tight, but they are so loose I'm afraid I'll lose them. I just wish I had a machine that I could walk into and measure all the inches all over the place. Since starting with the Oxycise! program, I feel so much better and have more energy than I have had in a long time. And to my surprise, I also found that without really thinking about it, I have improved my diet and in general eat more sensibly.

"I attribute these changes to Jill and Oxycise! When you feel good, you think more positively, and and as a result making changes seem to be effortless. I do the Oxycise! routine a minimum of 5 times a week without complaining or thinking of ways to get out of it. I have even added some of my own positions. I did find that there are periods where it seems like instead of losing, I'm gaining inches, but I continue to perservere then suddenly, whoosh more inches and weight come off! Oxycise! is addictive... it's a way of life, it's a happy feeling---IT'S GREAT."

"For Christmas this past year I gave myself and my sister boxes of colored foil sticky stars and set up a color code:
green for Oxycise!
blue for exercise class
silver for snow shoveling (that counts!)
gold for gym or swim workouts

"We post the stars on our kitchen calendars. There's no more fudging on how many times or what type of exercise was done for the week. And it's a fun way to end the evening by affixing the stars. And it's even better now: getting to the end of the month and seeing very few days without a star! And the best part is not feeling like a stuffed sausage in our clothes.

"In early January, I acquired the full series of Oxycise! tapes. It was a real motivation for me to get going again. I had gotten stalled and bored at Level 1 after a year. I now do Level 2 and 3 back to back (with a little rest during the re-wind) in the evenings first thing when I arrive home; then I give myself a star while I fix supper. I hope in a few weeks to add Level 4 and test drive the other tapes.

"I just started the Oxycise! program...again, but this time I intend to stick with it. I get up earlier in the morning so that I may start the day doing O!, and it both energizes me and helps me to be more relaxed throughout the day. I have a job that is super busy and stressful this time of year, and I started doing O!, not only for the physical benefits, but also because it really does help to relieve the stress of the job. I wake up each morning looking forward to doing O! and knowing that in 20 minutes I will be fully awake, energized, and ready to start the day...

"Sure, go ahead and share my thoughts on O!

"So far, what has been different about this time is that, although I have a long-term goal, I am focusing on the short-term one. I focus on doing O! every day for a week. That way, one week will lead into the next, which leads into the next, and so on...Before I have even realized it, O! will have become a part of my everyday routine. Also, rather than focusing on the weight loss and getting all stressed out about it, I am focusing first on the health benefits-the greater vitality, relaxation (more immediate) and the lowering of my blood pressure levels (which will come with time). I have always had excellent blood pressure levels, but I've found that during this first busy and stressful season on my new job, my levels have gone up for the first time. This really alarmed me so, after reading in your newsletters about how it has helped others with worse blood pressure problems than me, I really wanted to start back on Oxycise! and give it a real chance to work for me. I have also ordered a copy of Jill's "Chart Your Success" book so that I can set my goals on paper and really chart it. Because I have started and stopped Oxycise! on several occasions, I didn't want to stress myself out by taking all kinds of measurements, etc., but I can tell you that, after almost 2 weeks of doing O!, I have noticed that my pants aren't as snug around my middle. More importantly, I am more aware of my breathing (or lack thereof) and will stop to take some deep, relaxing breaths, rather than continue the shallow breathing.

"I have a long way to go yet, but I will get there. I love the support that you and Jill have always offered to both myself and to others. You really have a genuine desire to help us and I want to thank you for it."
