Update from Nancy Hi Julie, "Since I started Oxycise! AGAIN (this is the second time around) on August 4th, 2003 (about two months ago) I've lost an INCREDIBLE 10.25 inches on my body! I do Oxycise! at least five days each week and sometimes six times each week. Every Monday I weigh and measure my bust, waist, abdomen, hips and my left thigh. "With all the flexing of the muscles in my face from the breathing I've started to notice a definition in my cheek area! My friend said she has noticed that my arms are more defined and thinner. My jeans are fitting so much better! I actually have extra room in them and that is very nice since I really hate skin tight pants. I had been wearing shirts over my pants cause of the rolls going over the top of them, but now I'm actually wearing my shirts tucked in with a belt! WOW! "My 52-year-old menopausal body, unfortunately, has really resisted in actual weight lost. For the first month I only lost about a pound and a half. But, I think my abdomen was building up lean muscle tissue and that weighs more than the fat I may have lost in the first month. In two months I've lost 5.25 pounds and even though that isn't an amazing amount of weight for two months of doing Oxycise! I think slow and steady is better than fast and furious! These are my statistics:

REBECCA "Hi, Julie, "I really appreciate the 'Easy Does It'
Oxycise! because it doesn't hurt and is exercise I can do regularly with
arthritis. "I have something to suggest that works for
me: I got two bowls and 30 marbles. During the day as I do four reps of Oxycise!,
I move a marble from one bowl over to the other bowl. It's surprising how fast
they add up. Maybe I'm playing a game on the computer and when it's not my turn
I'll do one or two reps; if I do some reps in the pool, I move the marbles over
when I get home; in the morning when I go out to get the paper (in the fresh
morning air); in the shower. I could go on and on. It's amazing many reps can be
done without hardly know it.. I guess I've memorized all the 'Easy Does It'
moves and have no trouble remembering them so my body gets a full work out every
day. "It's too bad more seniors don't know about Jill and the 'Easy Does it' Oxycise!" Becky
ROSE "About three years ago I purchased the Level One Video. I tried to do it a few times but seemed unable to master it. I just didn't have the motivation. Then, about 3 weeks ago I decided to give it a go once more. In these three weeks I keep having people ask me, 'How much weight have you lost?' To tell you the truth I don't know how much weight I have lost if any. I do know that the fat cells in my body seem to be shrinking at a very rapid rate. I am also more calm and relaxed and prior to beginning the breathing I had begun to experience anxiety and panic attacks - something I have not had for years. Oh, by the way, this time it took me about 10 minutes to master the breathing. I guess I was motivated this time. I look forward to increasing health, well-being and inch loss." Rose
GINNY "It's been a long time since you have heard from me - - hope you haven't culled me out of your file!!!! I have been doing Oxycise! on and off for over a year or more (?) Don't remember just when I ordered all the materials - but finally this spring I was so disturbed that I was growing out of clothes and looking at a size 16 when I should be 10-12, I got real serious - - - haven't missed a morning with my level 2 tape - have lost 20 lbs and many inches, almost reaching my goal of 139 lbs and able to fit my size 12 's - I was aiming to be below 140 for my granddaughter's wedding on October 25th - almost there - 3 more lbs to go - - - - will be doing the 3 day cleanse for the next 2 weeks - have been eating according to your book - fruits and veggies - gave up my habit of munching of cheese cubes during the day - awful habit and need to drop my cholesterol readings and you know what? Don't even miss the stuff! - can't quite master the tape 2 perfectly - but I have a replaced right knee and a replaced left hip but I can certainly stretch a lot further than when I began - have the advantage of getting into the pool every day (almost) here in Florida and I have continued the water therapy given me after those surgeries - bicycling in the water and so on - also do the aqua jogging - but your newsletters are what have given me the motivation to keep on moving - I'm an early riser by nature and so am doing the tape first thing in the wee hours." Reached my goal weight this week. 140 - just in time for granddaughter's wedding on the 25th (Saturday - heading for Atlanta tomorrow for the big time ) - no binging though - I've worked hard to get this far since July and I'm enjoying having people notice, so I feel sure I will not have to begin again - hope to just continue - in fact suitcase is still open so in the morning I can toss in the tapes! KIM "I started the program last week. I can not believe it!! This program is truly a miracle. I have lost 2 inches off my chest, 2 and inches off my waist and 3 inches off my hips. I have not lost any inches off my thighs though, but I am sure that will all come in time. I do the exercise program everyday, it's sooooo easy. The results of the program are immediate. MICHAEL Michael Washington ordered an Oxycise! book and video set recently and immediately got started. He writes: "I read the entire book in one day. And then I started the tape program. Previously I had found a program that was helping me lose weight. But I wasn't losing many inches. And I was intrigued by the fact that your program doesn't make you sweat, and it doesn't require a lot of time. I was very skeptical. Even though I could tell the increase in the amount of air I could take in, I wasn't losing any weight. I decided not to do any other exercises so I could see how your plan worked. Because I felt if this worked I could do this anywhere any time. SURPRISINGLY after just one week I lost 1 inch off my chest, 2 inches off my waist 1 inch off my hips, and 2 inches off my thighs. And I lost 2 lbs. That's 6 inches in one week. I was blown away. How could something so easy work like this. I am a 6ft 1" 279 lb male. My goal is to make it to 180 lbs, 10 lbs lighter than my high school weight. That's 99 lbs. My max weight was 321 lbs. "I am married to a lovely woman who likes me the way I am. But this is not me. JANE Here's an Update from our friend Jane Cook.... "Just want to tell you that I call Oxycise! my "Fountain of Youth"!!! "I took a trip to see my friends & everyone asked me if I "had something done" & raved over how FIRM my neck was, (which is really a tell-tale place.) I never noticed before but when doing the exhale especially how all the muscles in my neck were being flexed-- my neck feels much stronger & longer so therefore, it "ironed" out any lines there & those lines start very early in life. I call them "tree-rings"--each one count the years. "No one would believe me when I said I didn't have a necklift & also, the glow that my skin has. This is definitely a Plus! from Oxycise! "I will be 69 yrs young next month & would never have believed I'd still look so good. Size 4-6 and 128 lbs (same as in 1971) and holding!! "It's all about all that oxygen!!! RUTH "I had purchased Oxycise! in February, weighing in at 160 lbs and 5'-2". I only used it sporadically with little to no results (surprise!) So I lost interest, as many have, as I've read in the newsletter. In January I was diagnosed with high blood pressure (200/124) and weighing in about 166 at that point. After many medication changes, my physician finally found one that somewhat lowered my blood pressure, but I still hadn't picked up "O!" or any other type of exercise. I decided that I had to do something so I began "O!" again and within about a month and a half I had lost 6 lbs and about 10". In March my physician threatened me with cholesterol medication and that's when I really got serious. I added walking to my "O!" routine and within 2 months had lowered my cholesterol 40 points, and was also watching my diet. As of now, I have lost 22 lbs and 23" total, walking approximately 17 miles per week and still doing "O!" daily (my blood pressure is now 112/80). Thanks to Jill for developing this program which is so easy to do, however, it only works if you do it. I know that I still have a ways to go, 138 lbs on a 5'-2" frame is a lot of weight to support, but I know that I didn't gain all this overnight and it will take time to shed. In the mean time, I'm going to it all the "O!" I've got. Thanks, SEPT 17 UPDATE:
BONNA "Hi, This is Bonna Sawyers. I've been doing Oxycise! since March. Guess what?? My cholesterol came down from 294 to 223. I cannot use the statin drugs, I've watched my diet and exercised quite regularly, and used some natural things, nothing helped. I weigh 110 so my Dr. said it wasn't what I eat, but what my liver does. My goal is to get below 200 by my next checkup in Jan.,also it has really helped a severe neck and shoulder problem. Sometimes if I don't do them in the morning, (my favorite time is before breakfast) if I have to go someplace, it is surprising how many you can do in the car. I've always exercised one way or another, this is the best, and easiest." THANX JILL.
MACO "I am a special ed teacher in high school. I was looking for some kind of easy exercises for my class. We had tried Tae Bo but it was too strenuous for my kids. A friend told me about Oxycise! so I ordered it for the class. We do it everyday after lunch and weigh and measure once a week. In 3 weeks I have lost 9 inches and about 3 pounds. My girl with CP says she is much more flexible and can pull her feet all the way in when doing the sitting butterfly exercise. We all feel better and have more energy. I do the exercises twice a day--once at school and once at home in the evening. I haven't missed a day yet so I'm anxious to see what else I can lose. The more my clothes fit better, the more I'm encouraged to try to eat less too. I'm excited about this for my class (and for myself)." Maco Fariss UPDATE, Nov. 13 "Today one of my pretty heavy students lost over 9 inches altogether, but no weight was lost. We weigh once a week on Thursday before breakfast and measure. I think it is sooo important to measure because sometimes when you feel discouraged because you haven't lost weight (even though your clothes are fitting much better), it is encouraging to see the inches dropping. But the increased energy is a real plus."
SHERRY "My aunt told me about Oxycise!, and I thought it sounded totally hokey! Well, I've changed my mind. For years I've had shortness of breath, allergy and sinus problems, etc. Some days I felt good, others I didn't, I just tried to live with it. I did very poorly on a breathing test the allergist gave me--breathing flat wore me out. My blood work also showed an abnormally low concentration of oxygen in my blood. The doctor wanted me to go for a complete pulmonary function test. I started the Oxycise! program approximately six weeks before the hospital test. Guess what? It was absolutely normal! I didn't weigh before I started--I never weigh, it isn't something I worry about, thankfully-- but I have definitely lost inches on the program. All of my pants are loose now. Everyone in my house thought it was hilarious when they first watched me do it, but they're all used to it now, though they do sometimes shake their heads and say "that just doesn't make sense." "I'm not short of breath like I was, and let me tell you, it feels good to feel good. I thank God and Oxycise! for better health. I try to do it at least five days a week. It works!"
