"Hi, Just a short message about Oxycise! I started Oxycise! about a month ago
and I feel firmer in my legs and arms. I haven't lost any weight yet, but I'm
hopeful, and I have lost inches. I would like to see Jill make more "Easy Does
It" videos. I can keep up with the pace and I also like the three segments.
Thank-you soooo much for thinking about us Seniors."

"Hi Julie,
I have been reading medical reports saying how deep breathing is a great stress
reliever. Florida has really been under a stressful situation with the
hurricanes. One news report said that everyone in this state has been subjected
to trauma even if you aren't in a damaged area. Thankfully there has been no
damage where we live, but we really feel for those who have been affected by the
storms..."

"Hello,
Just a note to say how much keeping hydrated has helped me! I try to drink 3
quarts a day of fluids. At first it was an impossible task, water just isn't
that great. I now juice an orange and lemon in 1 quart of water with a tad of
Stevia and drink that down before I eat anything in the morning. I love juicing
collard greens, cukes, celery and a couple of carrots for an afternoon drink
(dilute in half with water). And then I enjoy my tea, hot and cold for the third
quart.
"Thanks for all the great inspiration to breathe deeply and praise our God!"
Thank you.

Kathy, from Wrightwood, CA wrote to us on September 13th:
"Hi, I've been trying Oxycise! for about 5 weeks now and have lost a total of 7
inches. That is really amazing to me and also everyone who sees me and asks what
I am doing."
But Kathy adds:
"...in the last 2 weeks the loss of inches has really slowed down from the first
three weeks. Have I hit a plateau? Is this common at this point? I thought maybe
I should be dieting more than I am but I'm really not a big eater. I don't know
what I may have lost in pounds because I do not have a scale. I do know that
some clothes are fitting that did not a month ago so that's how I know I am
losing something. Please let me know what I can do at this point to speed up the
loss of inches and pounds."
Here's a September 26 update from Kathy:
"Thank you for the response to my question about hitting a plateau. I feel
better now that I am not alone in this dilemma. I continue to Oxycise! every day
and use the tape in the car when I have to leave early. I have told EVERYONE,
including my son in Colorado about your program. They are all amazed that you
can lose inches and pounds and sizes just by breathing! My son said he has
ordered the intro. package and is going to give it a try. I will continue. I
HAVE lost 3 lbs. but the best part is that my clothes fit better now. Thanks for
the support too."

"My 15-year-old daughter and I have been "Oxycising" together for only a month,
but already we are both experiencing benefits, some of which we did not expect!
"And because of my own knee and lower back limitations, we have been using the
"Easy Does It" videos, too!
"My daughter was already within a fairly healthy weight for her age and height,
but Oxycise! has trimmed and toned her arms, legs and hips to the extent that
she has noticed a pleasing difference in how she looks and feels. And others
have even commented about her "narrowing" hips!
"BOTH of us are excited about the DISAPPEARING CELLULITE!
"I have just turned 50 and, being pre-menopausal, have experienced a slight
weight gain putting me in the "overweight" category. I need to lose about 15
pounds to put me where I really need to comfortably be. After only the first
week of "Oxycise!", I lost 5 pounds! Someone even asked me if I was losing
weight. By the second week, my upper inner thighs no longer chafed and rubbed
when I walk. And I have been able to train myself to involuntarily switch from
being a "chest" breather to breathing "diaphragmatically".
"But the most SIGNIFICANT improvement of all, I must say, has been to my
skeletal posture. I have endured the physical affects of scoliosis for over 30
years. Because of the scoliosis, I have lived with various abnormalities in my
posture and skeletal "shape": My spine alignment has been in the shape of a
"question mark" (causing the upper right side of my back to frequently tense and
"hump" up), my right wing bone has protruded almost at a right angle from my
back shoulder [and] is higher than the other, my rib cage has been distended
(like a lamp shade or bell) and distorted/shoved to one side, and one leg is
2-3" shorter than the other.
"While I haven't noted a significant difference in the length of my leg or the
position of my right wing bone -- YET -- my daughter and I have noticed a
significant difference in the shape and size of my RIB CAGE! The "belling" and
distention of my rib cage has significantly REDUCED! Though I never measured the
girth of my rib cage at its widest point, it is noticeably narrower, that is,
NOT as distended and distorted as before! My upper back doesn't tense up as much
as it used to, and my daughter says my spine looks straight! Even my lower back
does not tense up as much as it used to!
"All with the LEVEL 1 "EASY DOES IT" video (with only slight modifications to a
couple of the exercises).
"I have talked to my friends about the benefits my daughter and I have
experienced this past month. In particular, I have mentioned the "Easy Does It"
program to a 65-year-old friend who suffers from high blood pressure, diabetes,
osteoarthritis, damaged knees and lung damage from severe cases of pneumonia."

"Hi Jill,
My mom and I started Oxycise! back in April and by December we both had lost 15
pounds and I'm not sure how many inches which I reported to you earlier this
year, however, this year
we have basically maintained our weight. Haven't lost pounds, but have lost some
inches.
"Where we found that we excelled was when we went for our physicals. Both of our
reports blood work etc. all came back with good numbers, blood pressure was
within normal ranges. My EKG showed that I had a heart arrhythmia so doctor
wanted me to take a stress test. I got through that with the breathing skills I
have learned from Jill. When the treadmill test was done, I was ready for it to
stop, but think I went longer than if I hadn't learned how to deep breath
correctly. Heart doctor said all looked good, so I guess I passed the stress
test too. Mom too went for a treadmill test earlier this year and said that she
felt she managed much better this time around with the breathing skills learned
from Jill. Her test came back good too! So we credit Oxycise! to a lot of the
good results, of course we try to eat right too.
"When I got on the treadmill the tech that hooked me up to all the wiring said,
"While walking on the treadmill look straight ahead at the picture on the wall
and pretend I am watching Oprah". I said, "No, I think I will pretend I am
watching my video tape on Oxycise! with my instructor Jill." She didn't ask what
it was, thought maybe she might.
"We will keep on breathing throughout the holidays so that at least we will
maintain our weight as all those goodies are too tempting.
Happy holidays

"I am crazy about Oxycise! and have so many of my friends doing it too... I am
already down to the size I want, feel better and [have] a nice tight tummy and
thighs and I am 74 and look wonderful, I have only been doing Oxycise! for three
weeks. People do not believe me 'til they try it. I'm so grateful for Oxycise! I
have fought weight all my life, tried everything, but this is the best, easiest
yet and makes you feel so energized! People think I am in my fifties. Makes you
feel good! Thank you, thank you."

"A friend of mine who weighed over 400 pounds first introduced me to Oxycise!
because it was the only exercise he could do, and the system, combined with a
lowish-carbohydrate regimen did help him to normalize his weight for the first
time in his adult life. I also have another friend who navigates life most often
from a wheelchair, and she uses Oxycise!, adapting the routines to her needs.
"However after my friends introduced me to Oxycise, I laid the tapes aside,
preferring more rigorous activities such as Boxercise, swimming, and la danse
Orientale. Last month, I was waylaid by an inner ear infection that
significantly limited my activity. With my physician's permission--which one
should have before adding any new exercise--I began Oxycise! and was able to
retain much of my muscle tone and general fitness through my illness. I plan to
keep Oxycise! as part of my overall fitness activities."

"Hello Jill,
Your Oxycise! program has helped me so much you would not believe. I had
bursitis along with calcium build-up and spurs in my right shoulder and would
just cry at night with the pain. I could not sleep and could barely move my arm.
It was getting to the point where I would lose my grip when trying to hold on to
something and my hand would shake. Pain would radiate all the way down my arm. I
had resorted to my family doctor. Of course they gave anti-inflammatories. Then
to an orthopedic surgeon with steroid shots. Two within a year. After an MRI and
the surgeon seeing the bursitis, spurs and calcium build-up and having had all
the steroid shots I could have, there was no other resource but surgery. I
agreed. While waiting about 6 weeks for insurance approval and then a surgery
date I happened to be watching T.V. early one morning and saw your program. I
immediately ordered it. After using it daily, I noticed my pain was subsiding
and I felt better and thought, 'If my arm is not hurting anymore, why do I need
to go in for surgery?' I called the doctor and cancelled surgery. The benefit of
Oxycise! was great. I did not lose any weight but the health benefits are
fantastic. I may need to just learn the breathing technique a little better and
I am ready for a new level.
"Thanks so much, Jill, for your story and research. I have told many people and
friends about Oxycise!"

"This is my first sharing, but I have been so blessed by what others have shared
I can remain silent no longer! Oxycise! has made a huge difference in my life
for the past two years. In overcoming depression, weight loss and recovering
from surgery. Before my surgery Jill sent me some of your stories about recovery
after surgery and that gave me the courage to do it too. I am 70 and had a
Hysterectomy 6 weeks ago. I began using my Oxy breathing in the hospital and in
one week started the movements of [Level] #1 that I felt comfortable with and
was surprised at how rapidly I was adding to them until I was using them all. At
my four week check up my Dr. told me I was more advanced in my recovery than
most of his patients at that stage. I laughed and said that he told all his
patients that, and he told me, no, that he really meant it. I know that Oxycise!
did that for me and I am amazed myself at how fast I have recovered and how well
I feel."

"Hi Julie,
I got the introductory videos a few weeks ago. I have a stair stepper. One day I
got on it and just started doing the breathing. To my amazement I was able to
stay on for 10 minutes (I could never last but 3 minutes before). I've lost
inches. Thanks for such a wonderful product. I didn't know weight loss could be
so easy."

Kathy
"Hi, I have been doing the Oxycise! exercises since last July. I have lost 10
inches total and feel great. The pounds have not come off as I had hoped but the
body reshaping is amazing! I no longer have to wear the size 14 or 12 as I did
last summer. I can fit into a size 10 now and that has not happened for about 2
years. It's true that you have to ignore the scale and judge more on how you
feel and how your clothes are fitting. I do my exercises most from the tape in
the car. Because I am a full time student I do a lot of sitting in classes. But
I will do the tape on the way to school and on the way home. It's the perfect
amount of time and I feel so much better after I am finished. I know I have done
something good for myself. Thanks for a great program. I intend to never stop."

Subject: my results so far
"I ordered Level One this past mid-spring, and I honestly figured that I was
falling for just another weight loss gimmick like I have so many times before. I
had zero expectations.
"I let it sit unopened for a number of weeks, but I did read the book, and
finally decided that I would try it for the summer - and I did begin mid-June. I
was encouraged by the fact that I could actually DO it without hurting myself,
and in the length of time that is claimed. At the same time, I began to really
control the size of my portions at meals. I replaced most of my snacks with
healthier choices.
"Anyway, I am 51 years old - and as of mid-November, I have lost a total of 31
inches and 48 pounds. I have never been able to sustain a "diet" or exercise
routine for more than a couple of weeks and have gained and lost and regained
for over 25 years. I am amazed that this little bit of exercise could make such
a tremendous difference.
"I would like to lose another 20 pounds, but if it does not happen, I will
continue with your videos anyway because I feel so much better. Thank you very
much."

"Hi, Jill,
I like to read the weekly Oxychat. It helps me to read about other success
stories.
"When we lived in Colorado I purchased Level 1 tapes and book. It has helped me
to move and be more agile, since I have MS and have difficulty walking and doing
exercises or standing on one leg.
"Last July I had a stroke and now I’m in a wheelchair most of the time...
"My stomach was creeping on my legs so I took a three month Dr. Phil challenge
using Oxycise! as my daily exercise. My stomach stopped creeping and I have lost
7 inches around my waist and 4 inches around my hips and more inches around my
body.
"I try to start my day with about 20 exercises I learned in 'Gateway to
Wellness,' a program for MS folks. Then I pop Level 1 in my TV before I leave my
bedroom. I really like Torpedo 1 and Torpedo 2 and the knee presses. I can
modify some of the leg exercises using my walker to stand.
"We lived in Colorado for thirty-six years, so I enjoy seeing Colorado scenes on
the video, since we moved back to my home place in Ohio. My husband built a deck
for me and put a galvanized, horizontal pole at waist height. I can hold on to
it to do some of my Oxycise! outside. I tell my left leg to move and do the
movements. Maybe some day it will come through and surprise me!"
Thank you.

Janice asked the following question:
"Do you have exercises I could do in my wheel chair or lying on my back in bed?"
and added, "I would like to hear from you about stomach exercises I can do in my
wheelchair or on my bed."
YES!
Our Oxycise! "Easy Does It" Level 1 video set is a great way to learn Oxycise!,
especially if you are a senior or have disabilities, or if you just prefer a
more step-by-step workout at a slower pace. Jill gives clear, step-by-step
instructions for learning the breathing in the Introductory tape. The workout is
on a separate tape and is gentle and "user friendly." Alternate reclining
positions are shown for those who are bedridden, or who are recovering from
injuries or surgery.
Re: stomach exercises, the breathing alone is one of the best exercises you can
do for the abdominal area. If you do the breathing correctly -- deep relaxed
inhales and powerful exhales -- you will be toning and trimming your entire
torso and midsection.

Barbara
Barbara shares her personal strategy for weight loss success: a combination
of scripture study, prayer and Oxycise!
"My exercise wake up call came last January. My husband and I had talked
about going south for his winter birthday for 25 years. We finally made it to
Arizona and were staying in a lovely, romantic time share with a bedroom full of
wall to wall mirrors. I hadn't seen myself in a full length mirror for seven
years. What a shock followed by humiliation. That May my youngest daughter
turned 15 and on her birthday I weighed the same amount I had weighed the day
before she was born!
"We purchased the Oxycise! video through a Sunday newspaper supplement and
started breathing and stretching together. An email friend also told me about an
online Bible study for gluttons called 'The Lord's Table.' The 60 lessons teach
you how to keep your soul fat so that you're not looking to food to meet needs
that only Christ can meet. During the study I purposed to read the Bible, pray
and exercise every day for the rest of my life. Oxycise! makes it easy to keep
that commitment. I needed a regimen that was excuse-proof. Oxycise! requires
only a chair, I can do it before or after I'm dressed for the day, it's easy to
do on vacation or when visiting relatives, I feel so 'alive' when I finish, and
it can be modified for my own special needs (sometimes my shoulders and elbows
are achy), and it's great for all ages. Even though I started when I was 50, I
hope to still be Oxycising when I'm 100.
"I went from size 14 to size 6 and 170 to 135 pounds. My daughters and I swap
clothes, my husband is delighted with his new wife, and I've become a mentor for
'The Lord's Table' and encourage all my students to Oxycise! Thanks, Jill, for
your research, hard work and creativity."

Marilyn
"Hi Jill,
It's Marilyn Blackwell. I just had to confess that I really know that Oxycise
works! People like me are bull-headed and still choose to beat up the body and
walk for miles. Recently I got tired of my hips not moving. I started back on
Oxycise! Buns and Thighs #1 and in just four days I started seeing results in my
thighs and to think I've been working on my thighs all summer. I promise to be
faithful again in Oxycising every day no matter what, because you will get
results if you just do it. You will not have a headache afterwards like you get
sometimes after jogging and your pressure has gone up. With Oxycise! you feel
great! And you don't hurt. The only thing that hurts is not doing it. I
personally like it when my abs are a little sore. This lets me know I'm really
taking in a lot of air and that my muscles are toning up. I can hardly wait
until three weeks from now [when] I measure myself again! I tell everybody I
meet about Oxycise!"
Thanks so much
Marilyn Blackwell
