Multiple Injuries from Car accident 13 years
ago "The reason that I love Oxycise! so much is
that over 13 years ago I was in a car accident that left me with trauma to my
muscles, tendons, ligaments, whip lash and a ruptured disk in my lower back. I
was in pain and agony all of the time.
"... The doctor said that I had to do
aerobics every day but I wasn't allowed to do sit-ups, so I tried just about
everything that was out there. I own over 26 workout tapes that left me
exhausted and still maintaining the weight of 163lbs. I always thought that
aerobics meant running, jogging and jarring but after doing Oxycise! I realized
I don't have to do any of that and I love how it makes me feel. I immediately
slept better and my energy skyrocketed. The biggest part of my pain has
subsided. I have lost and am maintaining a 40 lb weight loss. I
went from a size 13 to a comfortable size 7. The benefits are endless.
"Oxycise! gives me everything that I need in
a workout, all in 15 minutes a day. There is no more jarring on my bones, joints
and back. I get a complete aerobic workout with a full body stretch, muscle
toning and complete ab workout. No more sit-ups to irritate my lower back and
neck.
"I am now 42 years old with a family and I
feel happier and healthier then I have been in years! No other program has
worked for me the way Oxycise! has and that is why I love it so much and do it
every day. I look forward to doing Oxycise!"

Neck and Back Injury
Dear Jill
More than three years ago I had a car accident that left me in excruciating pain
with a neck and upper back injury. I was working two jobs and teaching dance, my
lifestyle went from one that was crammed from dawn to dusk. Before the car
accident I had been in hospital for more than four and a half months because of
pregnancy problems, I gave birth to a beautiful baby girl, our third daughter
and had six weeks of bliss. I was so glad to be at home after such a long time
separated from my family.
"I had the car (accident) which left me
practically bedridden and on enormous amounts of medication to control the pain,
needless to say I put on an enormous amount of weight. I went from an Australian
size 8 weighing 48 kilo's to a size 18 weighing 78 kilo's.
"While watching TV one night I heard about
your program, Oxycise! and purchased a copy from Victor Paul Marketing in
Australia. I started your program in May of this year and my measurements were:
Chest 42 inches, Waist 36 inches, Hips 43 inches,
Thighs 26 inches.
My measurements now are:
Chest 40 inches, Waist 34 inches, Hips 42 inches, Thighs 24 inches.
My husband and I would like to say thank you,
because of your program I have a new lease on life and with my families help and
yours my lifestyle is improving every day. So far I have lost 14 kilo's in
almost five months.
Kind Regards,

Whiplash, Torn Muscle, Numbness
"I was recently in a car accident in which I
had whiplash, a torn deltoid muscle and numbness going down my arm and leg - all
on the right side.
"I went to a very good massage therapist who
helped me a great deal and also told me about the Oxycise! System.
"She lent me her video tapes and I began
video #1 approximately 2 weeks after the accident. To be honest, I was really
excited about trying it to aid in the healing process and to stay strong and
healthy; but when I began to see inches and pounds disappear I of course was
very pleased with the added bonus. I am totally amazed at how it is helping me
and at how great I feel. I am hooked and a true believer! I have told a lot of
people about it and what it's done for me."
Kind regards,

Degenerative Nerve Damage, Lower Back
"Hi Jill,
I've only been doing Oxycise! for two weeks, but I had to write and tell you my
story. I have seen a change in my body even after just two short weeks. More
importantly, I have degenerative nerve damage in my lower back from a car
accident 9 years ago. This year, my job has been very stressful and I've been
taking a lot of medicine to get through the days. I started doing Oxycise! on a
Sunday. That following Tuesday I took my back meds for the last time to date.
Last Sunday, I was getting some pain. I stopped what I was doing and did the
Oxycise! video. In fifteen minutes the pain had subsided. Thank you for giving
me a medicine-free way to feel better. I can't wait to fit into my old clothes
again. Will keep you posted on the weight loss part."

Construction Accident
"...I have lost over 4 inches in my belly
and over 2 inches in my waist and have firmed up all over. I just got the abs
and upper body workout today and it looks like a real challenge for me. I was in
a construction accident 10 years ago and fell 4 stories, landing in a parking
lot and breaking over 30 bones in my feet, right leg, lower back, and crushing
one ankle and one wrist. It was questionable whether I would ever walk again. It
is only a miracle from the Lord that today I walk without even a limp! Yet I do
have trouble with keeping the weight off as I am not as active as I once was.
Oxycise! is a real blessing. Something I can do long term without putting a
strain on my various damaged body parts. Thanks for what you are sharing with
others."

Shattered Heel
"... I FINALLY got my tapes and am
absolutely thrilled! I am temporarily disabled with a shattered right heel and
have been sitting around feeling like a lump for almost a month. Today, I did
the tape all the way through for the first time (got my kit 2 days ago), and
modified the positions that I can't do right now (anything standing). I feel
wonderful! I love the breathing technique, although I mastered it so quickly
that I'm concerned I'm not doing it right! (grin) I strongly recommend this for
anyone with any kind of disability as I think it is so easy to modify for one's
needs! I'll be posting progress as I go!"

Update,
Feb 7
Well, more updates. I'm tickled! I can't remember
all the exact numbers, but I started about 2 weeks ago, I think. Anyway,
starting weight was around 185. Today, I was 175.5. I'm down 2.5 inches on my
hips, 1.5 inches off my abs, 2 inches from my waist and 1/2 inch from my thigh
(I'm only measuring the left one because the right one is atrophied a little, so
it doesn't count). Now, I should also say that my appetite has been in the
hopper since the accident, BUT I credit Oxycise with a LOT of it! Now, also, re:
the pounds down, take into consideration that I had a 3 lb cast on my leg which
is no longer there. But still, almost 7 lbs is pretty darn good! I have the
moves memorized and just use the card and do the exercises while I'm watching
TV. As to how I do this with a shattered heel, I modify. For example, I don't do
"rip the floor". I do another arm exercise instead. Instead of doing
the "bar" exercises (standing behind the chair), I do those on my bed
on my hands and knees and just extend the appropriate leg back or to the side,
depending on the exercise. I do all the pec presses sitting and the other wall
exercises on my left foot. I'm getting really good at balancing! So, that's how
I do it!

Shattered Wrist, Broken Arm, Hip Injury
Subject: latest happenings
"Well, on 10/11 I fell & shattered my
wrist, fractured upper arm & busted the bursa in my hip!!!!! Good news
is that according to the physical therapist, if I was not in such good shape
& so FLEXIBLE I would not have progressed so well with my therapy.
"I KNOW it is all due to Oxycise! & the
stretching in the positions that has made me that way--been doing on average 300
breaths a day with my therapy exercises that has really helped me move forward.
"All the people at the hospital were so
impressed they all want me to teach them & can't believe my age vs. agility.
I also improvised some of the positions so I can sit in a chair ( can't get on
the floor w/ only 1 strong hand) & was thinking how great this is for those
that are physically challenged.
"Thank you, thank you Jill (& you, too)
for this FABULOUS program!!!!!!
Have a
GREAT holiday!"
On the road to quick healing,

Age 68
PS "Went to bone Dr. today & says I'm
doing great!!!!!!!!!! He cut my physical therapy from 3X a wk to once a wk for 1
month. I think that's super for an ole lady that was all broken up!"
Update:
"Hope this finds u well. Just to bring you
up to date on my progress since my big 'Fall' & let you know how much
Oxycise! has increased my healing process. Was given 8 mos. to 1 yr. for full
recovery, the Orthopedic Dr. released me in 3-1/2 mos (but still have to be
careful not to re-injure anything.) My physical therapist also released me, but
still do it on my own.
"Can now use 5 lbs. wgts on my broken wrist
& arm And more importantly, added these wgts to my total "O!"
workout & cannot believe how each complements the other!! The results
have been very noticeable & quite quickly. What a great way to go!! Not only
have I gained great muscle definition but it also sped up the inch loss quicker
than doing "O!" by itself.
"Don't know if anyone else has done this or
if they saw the difference but it's unbelievable the strength & stamina it
has given me by adding the weights & also changed my whole body shape---I
just love it! I think this is just a great way to enhance the results and all
the doctors & hospital staff cannot believe the shape of this 68 yr.old
lady!
"I'm more excited than ever & really
look forward to doing my daily workout & try not to miss it--if I do, then I
don't feel right all day & definitely don't function as well. This just
keeps getting better & better."

Broken Hip
"I have good news to report. After losing 20
lbs in 3 months, I fell and broke my hip. I felt my weight loss program was
over. I e-mailed Dr. Larriann Gillespie, author of 'The Goddess Diet' and 'The
Menopause Diet,' for help. She suggested Oxycise! I ordered the level 1
tapes and started doing Oxycise! every day from my bed and W/C. There were many
positions I could not do so I did more of those that I could do. I am thrilled
to report that 3 months after breaking my hip, I have lost another 20 lbs. Now
there are only a few positions that I can't do. I plan on making Oxycise! a
lifelong habit. Thank you so much for this wonderful program.

Broken Wrist
"I have broken my wrist in 3 places and have
plates and pins holding my wrist bones together. I am hoping to start again with
Oxycise! to do what I can for exercise. I just want to thank you for always
sending me the newsletter. I read it faithfully, and find it inspiring, even
though I have not been faithful in doing the workouts.
Thanks again,
Jane

Update:
"So far, my bones have been so shattered
that the doctor asked me to keep my body fairly still rather than jostle the
bones in anyway. What I have been doing is the deep breathing throughout the day
even while waiting 2 hours for doctors to put on a new cast. I noticed that I
automatically hold my breath, possibly from pain and fear of the unknown part of
the healing process. More often, now I catch myself holding my breath even in
sleep, then consciously breathing as Jill teaches on her tape. I must say that I
immediately relax everywhere in my body and think I can take on the day. Today,
my doctor proclaimed that my incision was "beautiful". Now, to my eyes
it looked anything but beautiful. But it thrills me that he thinks I am making
progress. It is a winding 8-10 inch incision along the inside left wrist, with a
steel plate and 8 wires and bolts holding bones in place. The injury happened
when I tripped with my rubber gardening clogs, on the back patio bench, fell on
top of the cement rain drain full weight on the left wrist. I can let you know
my progress as I go along. I believe that I can start doing a few of the moves
at least on the right side. But I know the breathing is an important
beginning."

Achilles Tendon Injury
"Hi,
I am completely hooked on your program although I do not lose weight with it.
Don't panic - hear me out. I started this program because I had arthritis in my
neck (pretty bad) and had really hurt my Achilles tendon and I had a heel spur.
By really hurt I mean that my leg was swollen to the knee. All of these things
had been aggravated by lots of very aggressive exercise including Tae Kwon Do
(I'm an over 50 lady black belt) and advanced step class with lots of pounding
plus beginning tap dancing. I kept exercising through the pain for months - DUMB
- until I could no longer walk. I was in very intense pain and frustrated
because I couldn't move and couldn't exercise. I have a very tough job involving
lots of travel and meetings and pressure and I really needed help.
"Your program did everything you said but
weight loss. The stretching and breathing helped me with pain relief and helped
promote healing to the very angry tendon. The relaxation was incredible. My
secretary thought I had started taking drugs I was so mellow and relaxed. A very
uptight person just melted away. My skin tightened up, my resting heart rate
dropped, the occasional asthma went away, muscles started returning, inches
dropped but no weight loss. In fact, I gained a bit. I put on my heart monitor
and realized that I was not raising my heart rate enough because I was already
so stretched out from prior months of exercise. In fact, the relaxing was having
such a dramatic effect that I was burning fewer calories.
"However, because I was getting pain relief
and healing the tendon I was able to slowly return to very vigorous activities -
very carefully and wearing a neck brace. What a shock. I have been able to
exercise with greater intensity than I have ever achieved in my whole life. I am
building recovering muscles and strength faster because I am not fighting for
oxygen as I have all my life in martial arts and exercise classes. Every morning
I start with your exercise (vol 2) and then do an aggressive work out in the
neck brace. I go to work in the "zone" - relaxed and intense. I try to
do a vol 1 in the evening perhaps followed by a Tai Chi or yoga or maybe some
kick boxing. I still have arthritis but I now go days without any ibuprofen. I
haven't had the strong pain killer for months.
"I am now dropping weight rapidly because I
am getting the heart rate up. If I was a beginning exerciser my heart rate would
have been way up there and I would have lost weight just doing the
Oxycise! Frankly - after months of intense pain I don't care that much
about the weight. It is so incredible to feel good again. I have to be very
careful about the neck and I am using a special shoe insert for the heel but I
am rocking and rolling and feeling great again. I cannot go more than 24 hours
without using the program. I have ordered all of the new tapes and can hardly
wait for them to come...
"My kids who played the tuba in competitive
drum and bugle corps tell me that these are similar to the oxygen drills that
they use to increase lung capacity."
Thanks,
Pat Britton
