Mom, Age 72
"I ordered your advanced
tapes a month ago for my 72-year-old mother. I had given her my copy of the
original Oxycise! tape and she loved it so much she wanted more. In five weeks
she has lost 14 pounds, 5 inches in her stomach, 5 inches in her waist 3 inches
in her hips, over an inch in each thigh, 3 inches in her bust. Her face, neck

"I am a young 60 years old.
My name is Kate. I am 5 ft. 7 and started out at 240 lbs. I'm a college graduate
with a masters in business management and hold a professional position in
administration. Unfortunately, the latter means I sit in front of a computer a
lot. In September my doctor told me I was on the cusp of Type 2 Diabetes (The
type where your body is insulin resistant). Up until I turned 30 I weighed 153,
but gained weight after my last pregnancy and found it impossible to lose it and
keep it off. My blood pressure went up as did my cholesterol, but It didn't
particularly bother me. I'm healthy. I'm friendly and outgoing. People treat me
well and I am able to do most of the activities I enjoy doing. When my weight
becoming a medical problem, however, I made up my mind to do something about it.
My husband saw the Oxycise! tapes advertised in the paper and ordered them for
me.
"The first thing I noticed -
and the reason I got 'hooked' on Oxycise! - was the change in my face. I lost my
double chin the first week. I didn't know you could do that! Then I started
noticing other changes almost on a daily basis - a dimple in my smile, a waste
line. The most startling discovery, however, was the day I found myself going
down the stairs at the movies taking one step after another (as opposed to going
down one step, bringing my feet together and then taking the next). I stopped in
the middle of the staircase turned to my husband in astonishment at what I had
just done. He just grinned.
"In the first 6 weeks I lost
20 pounds. This happened easily and effortlessly with only minor changes in my
diet to avoid sugar, white bread etc. I was never hungry. If anything, I ate all
the time. Then I reached a plateau and began losing at about a half pound a
week. My body, however continues to change shape. My joints don't hurt anymore.
In fact my knees and back don't bother me at all - despite turning myself into a
pretzel with the Level 4 workout! I don't get cramps in my legs in the middle of
the night. I am sleeping better. And when I look down, the biggest thing between
me and my toes is my chest.

had to walk in the cold about two blocks, and when we reached our destination, I
had to sit down, I was wheezing so badly. In fact my daughter-in-law said she

"I just need to thank
someone. This is my day - up at 6, do my first set of O's. Bathe, get dressed
for work. Have a fruit smoothie and cantaloupe for breakfast. Get on the
computer and find out how everyone else is doing on Oxycise! Go to my part time
job from 9-1. Have a veggie sandwich for lunch. Come home (after going to
grocery store, library, etc.) let my two dogs in the house for our afternoon
nap. Watch Northern Exposure and L.A.Law,then do my second set of O's at 4:00.
After that work in the yard a little, do a little crossstitch, figure out what
to eat for dinner (using the "Fuel" book) and enjoy the rest of the day.This may
not seem so exciting to most people, but to me it is wonderful. I'm 68 and after
49 years of marriage, my dear husband had a massive heart attack and died on
Dec.25. I have been in limbo since, until I came across this Oxycise! It
has given me a GOAL. It's something I can DO. Thanks, Oxycise!"

"Hello!
Want to say thank you for the excellent diet book.* I have struggled with diets
since I was 30 years old. I am now 60. I am very toxin laden (too much
medications for years and years of migraine headaches) and all my struggles with
a cleansing diet has always failed. Mostly because I can't tolerate any fruit
and most diets require fasting and near starvation over all. I'm thrilled over
the lists categorizing foods so one can eat without guilt. I was 131# and all of
it was centered in the mid section. Arms, legs and face were skinny. I am 5'5"
so I was not terribly overweight but so out of shape that mostly all the weight
was fat.
"I was a little slow to get
started but have now lost 9 lb. and 10 inches. Five of the inches has come off
the waist. I need to lose some more and gain some muscle instead. I was a little
lazy about the exercises because they would wear me out, but then I realized
that my calf muscles were returning and my legs began to look shapelier so now
I'm doing the full 30 reps daily.
"I eat a lot of raw salads
which include sprouted lentils and mung bean sprouts. NO FAT or oily dressing.
Also I make fresh veggie juices and with the exercises I seem to get away with
it without the usual cleansing symptoms. I'm sure the food combining helps too.

Nancy -- Age 60
Nancy first wrote to us last

"Last February my daughter
told me about an exercise tape she had been using since the birth of her third
child. She had done a great job of losing her pregnancy weight. Since I was
approaching my 60th birthday in six months I decided it was time to do something
about the 20 pounds I needed to lose. By the time my birthday rolled around in
August I had lost fifteen of those pounds and have kept them off...even through

"Oxycise! is the best thing
that has happened to me. It will be with me for life. I ordered level one tape
from QVC last July and then the book from Jill. It is the easiest, most natural
way to lose and maintain weight I have known. Believe me, I have struggled with
yo-yo dieting most of my adult life.
"I am a 62 year of woman who
retired in January of this year. Since I am a morning person, the first thing I
do upon arrival and making my bed is to go through the "O" program. Then I walk
approximately two miles five to six days a week. The results have been great. I
have lost 30 pounds and 11 inches in my waist. I have gone from size 16-18 pants
to a size 10. The good thing about "O" is that I have been able to maintain my
weight for more than six months and feel better than ever. My friends have

Shirley V. -- Age 67

told many people about it. I joined Weight Watchers last January and was doing
good on that, but now since I have also started doing your great exercise
program, the success rate for my weight loss has been a wonderful slow loss. I
have shared at those meetings my new Breathing Exercise Program called Oxycise!
and we have discussed the big benefits of it.
"I credit a lot of my
continual loss to my faithfully doing Oxycise! I knew I had to be somehow
increasing my metabolism and don't enjoy going to health club gyms. I am 67
years old, fairly active with ballroom dancing twice a week, travel and some
gardening in my yard.

happy. And will be so pleased to show up at my 50th Class Reunion in Minnesota
in July looking really good. But I can see that it is important that I make

"Thanks for your interest.
I've been doing Oxycise for a year now. The results I have received are:
1. Much more strength, especially in my arms.
2. Much more flexibility, especially in my hip joints, which had begun to bother
me. And in my shoulders. At first I didn't want to do your exercises for
shoulder strength, but I made myself do them as best as I could. I still don't
have as much flexibility as I would like, i.e., when I was younger, but the
improvement has been remarkable.
"Also, when I am waiting for
my tapes to rewind, I do the neck flexibility exercises which a chiropractor
gave me, which has helped tremendously with arthritis pains that had begun in my
neck, and also in my right shoulder.
"As far as weight loss, I
found that at my age I had to cut back on starches and sweets, and I have lost
15 pounds. And, of course, the inches have gone down, too, and I can wear a size
14 now.
"All in all, I am delighted
with Oxycise! Not only do they help me with strength and flexibility, but I
feel so virtuous when I do them, which helps my self-esteem a lot.
"I guess the hardest part was
scheduling Oxycise!, even though I don't work now, I had the usual reluctance to
exercise. So my plan was, I had to Oxycise! before breakfast, no matter how long
I dithered around with drinking coffee (one cup) and reading the papers. And I
just walked over to the VCR and started the tape. No big deal!

"We live on a mountain top on
20 acres in Montana. I was loading the motor home for a trip the first week of
July and carrying a dog food bowl with a water bowl balanced on top. I was not
looking where I was stepping and slipped off the stepping stone at the front of
the motor home. I sprawled into the dirt and slid. I hit so hard I almost lost
my breath. My face was in the dirt and my glasses had the lenses so deeply
scratched that I could barely see through the left one. The frames were also
bent. I had dirt all over my face and in my mouth. This is to give an idea of
how devastating the fall was. We were leaving to spend a week with friends in
Idaho and I was determined not to let anything spoil the holiday. I called to my
husband who was in the house and he came out to help me get up as I had no
strength in my leg muscles from the shock of the fall. The first miracle is that
no bones were broken.
"I cleaned the dirt off me
and decided that the worst of the experience would be the next day when all my
muscles would ache. The next morning I awakened early in my bed in the motor
home and I could tell I didn't want to move very much. I had received the
Oxycise! videos and the 15 minute audio tape earlier in June but had not used
them. I know that sore muscles are an indication of an accumulation of lactic
acid that slowly is removed -- usually it takes days. I realized that the
Oxycise! technique should correct that situation. I lay in bed and did the
Oxycise! exercises I had learned from the audio tape. I was going to do them for
15 minutes but extended them to 45 minutes (while my husband slept). I also did
extra ones on my legs and arms where the most muscle pain was. When I got out of
bed -- there was NO muscle soreness left. I continued to use Oxycise! every
morning and enjoyed a pain-free week. This week I am finally seeing some
bruising that is turning yellow-green but had not been apparent before. I think
the Oxycise! also mitigated the surface bruising.
"I want to point out that
this was the first time I had used the Oxycise! technique and so had no '
build-up' that might have made it work better -- and even then it performed a
miracle. I also want to say that I am almost 69 years old. I have had friends
put in the hospital with falls no worse than mine. Certainly the average person
my age would spend a week lying around in bed recovering from the pains. This
should be mentioned to your clients as another use of the technique. People get
sore muscles from all kinds of week-end exercise. This would be a miracle for
them. However, you can't put a time limit on the breathing as you have to do it
until you get rid of the lactic acid in the muscles. That would be an individual
thing.

"I have got my grandmother,
who doesn't have much mobility right now, hooked on Oxycise! When she first
awakes in the morning, she does several repetitions in bed. She does this both
with her legs stretched out in front of her and with her knees bent. She finds
that this also helps her to have enough energy to get out of bed. Then, later on
in the day, she Oxycises once again while sitting in her chair, with different
arm positions, or sometimes just breathing and sitting in an upright position.
After one month, she has lost ten pounds (she is about 80 pounds overweight) and
is feeling much more energy. She has found that this is the perfect exercise
program for her since she is not able to walk, and finds lifting weights very
difficult."

Lorraine -- Age 80
"My daughter gave me my
Oxycise! kit for Mother's Day. However, she gave it to me April 1, more
than a month earlier. I have done the 15 minute Oxycise! every day since April
1. Within 2 weeks, just out of curiosity, I tried on a few skirts I could not
button for a long time. Much to my amazement they now fit. I feel so much firmer
around the middle, and now I am beginning to see that I have a waist. I have
lost only four pounds, however, I am past my 80th birthday, and I realize it may
be more difficult to lose, but I am thrilled with what has happened around my
middle. Also I have found I have more strength in my arms. I have been suffering
with a shoulder pain which my doctor took an x-ray and said it was inflammation
in the area. He prescribed Mobic for the inflammation. My orthopedic surgeon
said he could give me some exercises which may help. Well, I do not have that
shoulder pain anymore. I haven't taken Mobic for one month. Could it be the
raising of the arm, reaching, etc., deep breathing? Also I have had wheezing in
my chest for two years, especially after doing something strenuous. The wheezing
is gone. It has to be the deep breathing. I attribute all of the above
improvements to the Oxycise! program. I do my 15 minute workout immediately when
I get out of bed in the morning, before breakfast. I just get up earlier so it
doesn't interfere with the rest of the day. I love it. Thanks to Jill."
