Oxycise! is an aerobic workout that can provide all the benefits of traditional aerobic exercise in much less time and without any machines, equipment, gadgets or impact to your joints. Like all aerobic exercises Oxycise! involves increasing your body’s oxygen intake and working your muscles. But with Oxycise! your body will never reach a state of oxygen debt — no gasping for air, no breathlessness. Oxycise! involves deep breathing, but it’s more than JUST deep breathing.
To do it correctly and achieve your own best results, you need to add GUSTO in both your breathing and in doing the body positions.
Really pump the air in and out with lots of power. Oxycise! is not magic — and does require some effort and intensity. Oxygen is the key — the intensity you use in your breathing will determine to a large extent how quickly you will see positive changes.
Check out the great results below from some OxyFriends in our Facebook group who noticed a real difference when they started focusing on the power of their breathing.
Happy breathing — and don’t forget the GUSTO!
“🎊Goal for 2019: do Oxycise with GUSTO!”
“🚘So I usually get my daily workout in via my trusty Commuter cd-I don’t think I could survive without it now!
“However. I also think I’ve been humming along with my workouts-they’re such an ingrained habit now-that I believe I’m not putting as much gusto into them as I really COULD.
“🎂Case in point: during my son’s birthday party today, and while the kids were playing in another room, I got in some reps via O! at the Office. Mind, I’d had some ☕coffee by this time(read: extra energy), but I was feeling the weekend vibe and I just really WENT for it, breathing in as fully as i could, going ALONG with the breathing instead of finishing ahead like i usually seem to(especially with the Commuter), concentrating on holding in all that good air while I tucked and did 3 big sniffs, then pushed all that air out just as hard as i could, not rushing it, and 3 hard puffs at the end.💨 (Looking back, I didn’t clench or tense my muscles more than usual, I just added more energy to the breathing) I ended up only doing 1-1/2 of the sets before the kids came back in.
“😵😮😬😊It was later on in the evening when it hit me-WHY am i so SORE?! I could feel it especially in my legs and butt. The ONLY thing i did extra today was breathing with super focused gusto.
“❤I think it’s time to go back to the basics, rewatch the Intro, and commit to adding as much gusto into each rep as I can-my goal is to reach summer feeling dang proud of my winter effort!”

“Increased clarity, stamina, flexibility is amazing”
“I have levels 1, 2,5 and 6 but subscribed to the online streaming Friday. Yesterday I took the time to watch the first instructional breathing video. Best decision ever! I realized how much I was rushing the breaths and not concentrating on getting all the oxygen in. Then I decided why not just do the Easy Does It routine and really concentrated on the breathing. Today I’m going to explore with some of the routines I haven’t tried and am so excited! I’ve done oxycise on and off since the VHS days and when I put it down and walk away from it for a while and then come back I am so amazed at why I ever stop. After 6 days into this challenge I feel so much better. Increased clarity, stamina, flexibility is amazing and just a sense of overall well-being.”

“I am getting such definition.”
“I started doing ‘O’ with the VHS tapes and like so many, not sure why I quit. Maybe because we did not have the technology to get the support like we do here. This time, I have become serious and when I do the breaths, and tightening, and bringing belly button to my spine I do it with gusto. And I can tell a difference. I can tell the muscles I am building is like when I did Cross Fit a few years ago. I can tell especially in my arms. I am getting such definition. So I encourage you, tighten as hard as you can, all over with each breathe. Now, saying all this, I still struggle with the motivation to do it. I am making myself do it daily due to this challenge and this group.”
