I did this program for about five months and was pleased to find that it actually did work, and it does feel good. You can lose weight on it (I lost about 10 pounds in 3-4 months) and it does develop you aerobically. (I found myself less out-of-breath when I exerted myself in whatever task I had on hand.) You can do as much as you like and as little as about 15 minutes a day, and this is a =real= 15 minutes, not an =exercise= 15 minutes, which normally doesn’t include warming up, cooling down, showering, changing clothes, et cetera.Since the complete thing takes 15 minutes, doesn’t require a warm-up or a cool-down, isn’t likely to make you sweat, or even require work-out clothes, it’s a good way to get some activity into your life. It’s easy to do when injured, and probably even a good idea when sick in many cases, unlike most workouts. You can even do it in the car.Are there problems with it? Well, yes, you might find it very unpleasant to actually =do=. Intense breathing is not for everyone. (Some people compare it to yoga, but it’s not at all meditative.) You’re also not going to get the kind of muscles you’ll get from the Body-for-LIFE program (for example) or the sort of weight-loss you might get from the Atkins diet.But ultimately, I’m glad to have this program in my exercise arsenal. It can give you an energy boost when you’re stuck in traffic, give you a way to keep your aerobic level up after a long period of not exercising, and is definitely a worthwhile effort.

A friend of mine who weighed over 400 pounds first introduced me to Oxycise because it was the only exercise he could do, and the system, combined with a lowish-carbohydrate regimen did help him to normalize his weight for the first time in his adult life. This is one of the best programs for restoring health and it is low-impact. I have used it at different times in my life, especially when I have had a lot of weight to lose. This will help you get through the door, I like to call it a gateway exercise as it will get you off the couch, breathing deep, and moving. If done properly you can lose a significant amount of weight, but feel healthier overall due to the increased intake of oxygen. I have lost over 100 pounds using Oxycise! on three different occasions!

I haven’t went through all the videos yet, but I like having them to review for encouragement. It’s like always having a buddy to exercise with. Its been 28 days and I’ve lost 7lbs. I weigh in each day and admittedly not all days are losses, but I use those days as incentive not to be sloppy with the breathing techniques. Obviously, watching the calorie in take helps, but over all, my diet is the same. I still eat ice cream and enjoy myself. This is a great program for those who can’t be as active as they’d like. Plus, you can literally do it anywhere. I’ve done it while washing dishes or watching a movie. Thank you!

Now at age 57, those kinds of workouts do not appeal anymore, but I still want all the benefits of increased energy, feeling good and burning fat that the gym used to give me. Enter Oxycise! The rate at which I lose weight is astounding! It literally falls off me! I burn fat at a FAR, FAR greater rate now at 57 than I did in my 20s, 30s and 40s. Who says that weight is hard to lose as you get older? I used to go to the gym 5 times a week, do weights, circuits, boxing classes, spin classes and would get LESS benefit and lose weight at a slower rate than I do now just by doing this beautiful breathing workout. I love that I no longer have to go anywhere, wear special clothes and spend a lot of money on memberships. I love being able to do it from the comfort of my own home at a time that suits me. I love that I no longer have to set aside 2 hours a day for the gym, because doing a full Oxycise workout takes less time than just the drive to the gym. I have lost 26 pounds and have good tone in my muscles without lifting weights. When I first started I could only do a couple of exercises, then I’d have to stop because I felt dizzy or nauseous. Since menopause, I have many more problems than my regular Callanetics programm could handle. Callanetics erased my saddle bags and did great but then, i was menopaused and Callanetics revealed its shortcomings. What to do against this sagging skin, this cellulite all over my body, especially around my arms? my researches made me think that breathing exercises are the answer to all that and more. I tried many breathing execise programs, they are boring, time consuming and for some of the, dangerous. Oxycise is adapted to glaucoma condition like mine, it take no time at all to practice every day, it is a tremendous breathing program coupled, at the same time, to a workout programm that curve and sculpt my figure better that other programs. So, clearly said, you do not have to do a breathing workout every day, and a physical workout every day. Just oxycise, only 15 minutes! In 2006, the new Callanetics programm, “Callanetics evolution” was launched. It is a nice programm but like all other workouts, even TTapp, Bikram Yoga, it cause fatigue, is time consuming, incomplete, and it does not adress all your issues. I honestly gave a try to all kind of sophisticated workouts. Until recently, i thought that Callanetics evolution was the new answer for me, then, TTapp but since a few month of dedication to Oxycise, the results are there and they speak for themselves!To summ up, Oxycise does everything and more in a very short period of time every day, just 15 minutes that you can adapt; 5 minutes here, 5 other theres. My life have changed completely, that is why i call Oxycise, not only of simply a workout programm but a new way of life. Just a small exemple; since oxycise, i do not catch cold anymore! I travel for work quite a bit and like to do Oxycise! in my hotel room. I had one workout saved on my phone and none on my work computer. Doing the same workout for a week or more gets a little old after a while! Having the streaming option allows me greater variety. I can choose which workout I want based on how I feel. What I’m going to say though is going through the exercise, looking at it, and how it’s presented- does appear tedious and silly. But do not let appearances deceive you. Put your all into in and the effects are amazing. You will not be disappointed. Many people make the mistake of thinking that exercises should be exciting and that if they are not – they are useless. When they do that – they pass up gems like this video that explains everything and that anyone can do. I’m so lazy I only did the breathing exercises laying down on my bed and yes I do hate exercising.
I’m not a very disciplined person. But for my health, I’m going to try again. Yes I have used oxycise before. And though I didn’t feel (bodywise) the effects was having on my body. It did work. At the end of the first month I lost 4 inches in my waist. I couldn’t believe it. It wasn’t a mistake. I’m very meticulous when it comes to measuring for things like that. I did it 4 times before I started. I was always tire d and runned down and I couldn’t walk over the hills effectively while on my way to work. The older people were passing me by at full speed and I was embarrassed. I bought oxycise and immediately I felt the difference. I was no longer huffing and puffing over those hills, and I could actually run for the bus and get it. I didn’t feel any difference, But the end of the month revealed a lot. I had lost a lot of inches all over my body including what I mentioned earlier in this review and I felt a lot better in fact I’m going to start doing it again. But I want it to be a life-long change. My goal is 133 pounds. I have over 2 months off from work for vacation and I plan to use it wisely.
