The Easy Does It senior exercise videos incorporate the same powerful Oxycise! breathing techniques as the Standard Series, but they include less aggressive body positions which are presented in shorter, easier-to-follow segments incorporating chair exercises and do not require kneeling or lying on the floor. You are also given the option to stop the video or pause between each 6 minutes of workout. These well-designed videos are a perfect senior exercise and are great for those who have injuries, knee problems, and those who just prefer to do the Oxycise! workout at a slower pace.
Jill demonstrates each body position in detail, to help you make the most of your Oxycise! workout. Learn to breathe your way to the physical shape you want to be! Plus enjoy a bonus “Chart Your Success” tool, vital to helping you stay on track to your health and wellness goals.

“Oxycise! is one of the easiest, most natural ways to lose weight I have ever found. I have lost 30 lbs. and gone from size 18 pants to size 10 and maintained this for over six months. It’s a perfect senior exercise. Oxycise! will be with me for life!”
– Vi Carr, age 62
“I am already down to the size I want and look wonderful. I feel better and have a nice, tight tummy and thighs. People think I’m in my fifties. I’m so grateful for Oxycise! I have fought weight all my life and tried every senior exercise, but this is the best and easiest yet and it makes you feel so energized!”
– Lila Babbidge, age 74
“Have been doing ‘Easy Does It’ Level One since March. Have lost 26 lbs and a total of 18 inches overall. I do Oxycise! twice a day and walk 1 mile at the mall 3 times a week. I am 79 years old and feel great. I would recommend Oxycise! to any senior person.”

“Hi Jill:
“Thanks for doing the exercises every day with me. I do them on the video with you and it has turned out to be the best thing I have done for myself.
“I started the Oxycise! program I think about last January 2004. I really didn’t think it would work, I thought I was too old. Age was my problem. I was tired and run down and felt just plain lousy. I was about 50 pounds overweight and was wearing a tight 44 pants. …I saw an ad for the Oxycise! program and decided it was time to stop and try and do something. I thought I was too old to do the weight thing. Much to my surprise I started and I felt a lot better after the first week. My breathing was good and my energy level was on the rise. In fact I fired the lawn man and am now doing all of the yard and singing again in Church, and the breath is good. I have so many rewards for doing your program I can’t believe them all. I am contemplating going for the next level as I feel so good on this one and am able to do them at the right speeds with you on the video. Well I have lost 50+ pounds and have lost 6 sizes and have the energy of being about 20 years younger. Thanks again for the program and believe me, if I feel this good at 75 then anyone can do it and succeed. May God bless you and yours and may America join in to fitness.”

It helps to get you to exercise slowly. Good for us old people. You can fast forward to the exercises you can accomplish.

I bought the Oxycise Easy Does It DVD as an addition to other Oxycise DVD’s that I own. For those who are wondering what Oxycise is or if it works, a (very) simple explanation is that it is exercise based on breathing techniques specific to isometrics (muscle contraction/resistance) which does work if done correctly and diligently.
It is not difficult to learn but from experience, I will say one must learn the breathing correctly for results. What are the results? For me personally when I do Oxycise consistently, I firm up considerably and lose a bit of weight (which is very difficult for me). I bought the Easy Does It DVD because I have an ankle injury and the exercises involve standing or sitting rather then getting down on the floor as with the other Oxycise DVD’s.
The Oxycise technique I think is probably underrated because it is based on breathing–which is free–and so some may believe it might not work or be worth the effort. I know–because I formerly thought that way. And the name: Oxycise, may make one think of an infomercial leaning towards a gimmick. It really is not. The founder of this exercise program has a track record of sincerity over several years and really seems to want people to be healthy–not just slim, but feeling good. Evidently, many (me for one) tend to breathe too shallow. This isn’t too hard to believe in our stressed out world. When I am consistent with this type of exercise–which takes 15 minutes each day–I do feel better and over time: look better. The Oxycise program–Easy Does It (or the other related DVD’s offering more intensity) is worth checking out.

This may work for some people, but quite honestly, I’d rather actually work out than just breathe. Just breathing is booooring. I do think this is a good exercise for the lungs, though.

If you are looking for a zero-impact exercise, this one is proven & time-tested. Combined with a sensible diet, this is a great alternative for people who are in recovery from an injury or operation, people with physical disabilities, people whose arthritis prevents them from other types of exercise, etc.
I give it 4 of 5 stars. The production quality could be better, but overall it’s a good program.
