You might not consider stretching an important part of weight loss, but it actually plays an important role in any weight loss program. Stretching keeps your body in top shape so that you burn more calories both during and after your workouts and you spend less time recovering from injuries or soreness.
As we age, stretching becomes even more important. Our joints become less flexible over time, making daily activities like walking, tying your shoes, or getting up and down from the floor more difficult. Tight muscles also contribute to chronic low back pain, knee pain, and muscle strains. But it’s never too late to reverse some of that tightening to help keep you limber, pain free, and looking your best.
These workouts will not only improve the range of motion in your joints, you’ll also build strength and endurance, reduce stress, boost your energy, and best of all – slim and tone from head to toe.
