Sleep Yourself Slim
But that’s not all – missing out on the recommended 7 to 8 hours of sleep can also lead to weight gain. Studies have shown that a lack of sleep has a greater impact on our ability to regulate our weight than we realize. In a study by the Mayo Clinic, sleep-restricted subjects consumed an extra 559 calories per day and gained more weight than their well-rested counterparts. The study found that people who get six hours of sleep per night are 23 percent more likely to be overweight, while the likelihood of being overweight for those who get less than four hours of sleep per night is astounding 73 percent.

“I also sleep better, have less stress and anxiety, am much happier all day, have a huge increase in endurance, have no more headaches, and have been able to go off some medications I was taking…I don’t need them anymore!”
“I have so much more energy, more stamina, I sleep better and deeper. I have just a general sense of well being that wasn’t there before.”
“I noticed a feeling of well-being, more energy, never have trouble sleeping anymore and my clothes feel looser… Thank you for a new lease on life at this age!”
