I love the OXYGEN! Breath is life.
I used to do Oxycise for years from a video until I got injured. I loved it then–so energizing, and it helped me tone my body and lose weight. I felt great while doing it, felt so much better about my body, and held my chiropractic adjustments better. After the injury, I just couldn’t do it without headaches and muscle pain. Now, much older, I need something no-impact that can help me strengthen and slim again, so I decided to try it once more. No headaches this time, although my back went out this morning when I got out of bed. I’m also sharing Oxycise with my best friend. I love the OXYGEN! Breath is life. I love that it’s low-impact for my damaged knees. I love the tremendous variety offered on the website, right down to Yoga, Barre, Easy Does It, and all the other options, including morning-afternoon-bedtime routines. It’s an extremely well-planned program. And I love the idea of service begun by Jill that is clear throughout the current version of Oxycise. It’s clear that Oxycise is based on a sincere desire to share wisdom, skill, and health without constantly trying to up-sell me, unlike so many other health products and services. And the membership is so reasonable. Thank you from the bottom of my heart!
P.S. Back when I was offering weight loss programs with hypnosis in my private practice, I always told my clients about Oxycise. I am even more impressed with Jill Johnson’s wonderful contribution now than 20 years ago when I started Oxycise. It just keeps getting better with age!
Oxycise! is a real blessing
“…I have lost over 4 inches in my belly and over 2 inches in my waist and have firmed up all over. I just got the abs and upper body workout today and it looks like a real challenge for me. I was in a construction accident 10 years ago and fell 4 stories, landing in a parking lot and breaking over 30 bones in my feet, right leg, lower back, and crushing one ankle and one wrist. It was questionable whether I would ever walk again. It is only a miracle from the Lord that today I walk without even a limp! Yet I do have trouble with keeping the weight off as I am not as active as I once was. Oxycise! is a real blessing. Something I can do long term without putting a strain on my various damaged body parts. Thanks for what you are sharing with others.”
Update:
“I forgot to mention that I also lost 2+ inches off my butt. I suppose this is doing pretty good as I do eat lunch out every day and have 2 breakfast meetings a week. I did need to modify a couple of the exercises since I have a plate in my left wrist which is fused and a fused right ankle, but the key is the breathing right? I’ll try to keep you updated on future success.”
I was thrown from a horse six years ago and broke my pelvis and haven’t been able to exercise since
“Hi Jill,
“I’ve just started using your program and so far I love it! I was thrown from a horse six years ago and broke my pelvis and haven’t been able to exercise since as my hip bones grind together. As you can predict, my weight has piled on and on. This is the first time I can actually do something without a whole lot of pain. Thank you!
“Thank you again for giving me hope,”
This is the only exercise program I have ever stuck with
“I injured my shoulder about 3 years ago. Several times…in the same spot. I fell and hit it several times. I could not raise my arm because it hurt so much and was very stiff. When I first began to Oxycise! I would have to lift my right arm with my other hand, if I was doing a position that required raising that arm. If I reached for anything in my cupboard I would have to put my left hand on my right elbow and help that arm down or I would drop whatever I was retrieving.
“After about two weeks of Oxycising, I could move my right arm up and down with no pain. This was no fluke and no coincidence. It was great to move my arm up and down after three years of not being able to do it. I have had no problems for a year now, since I have been Oxycising, but as I mentioned before, I was very surprised when it started stiffening up again and hurting after several days of no Oxycising. It only took 2 or three days for it to feel good again. I am almost 65 and have osteoarthritis. When my legs are sore or stiff and my back hurts I find that if I Oxycise! a little extra it really helps.
“Sure it’s work, but it is sure worth it. I don’t understand why people are so slow to try this when someone who has experienced the benefits tells about it. I am so skeptical about so many things, but I have proven this to be good for me in more ways than one.”
Update 6 years later:
“Thank you so much for the newsletter. I have been doing the Oxycise program for a few years now and it really helps me with flexibility etc. I am 70 years old and this program helps me so much. I vary between Levels 1 and 4…also the abs and arm tape.
“Not only am I 70 years old and do 5 levels of Oxycise, but I have atrial fibrillation. Of course people should check with their doctor first, but it has not affected my heart at all. In fact there have been times when it has actually stopped an episode of A.F.
“Sometimes when I haven’t been able to sleep at night, I will get up and do one of the tapes, then go back to bed to go right to sleep. This is the only exercise program I have ever stuck with and I have started many and quit after a few months.”
Still at it another 8 years later:
“I have not posted on the board for quite a while, but am still oxycising. Thank you for the newsletters. I am 78 years old. I feel a lot better if I Oxycise on a consistent basis.
“I had tried several other types but didn’t experience the same results. I did some aerobics and then would do some strength excersises. Well….Oxycise gives me both. So I stuck with it.
“It’s the only exercise I have been able to stick with through the years. I find it keeps me more limber than I would be otherwise at my age since I do have osteoarthritis. If my B/P is too high, I will Oxycise…then take my B/P and it will have come down several points. I am plagued with anxiety attacks from time to time….so my next ‘trial’ is when I feel an anxiety attack coming on…Oxycise and see if it can be avoided. I highly recommend it.”
“Hello! My name is Teri Ring & I just want to send you a big thank you for creating Oxycise!
“I was recently in a car accident in which I had whiplash, a torn deltoid muscle and numbness going down my arm and leg – all on the right side.
“I went to a very good massage therapist who helped me a great deal and also told me about the Oxycise! System.
“She lent me her videos and I began video #1 approximately 2 weeks after the accident. To be honest, I was really excited about trying it to aid in the healing process and to stay strong and healthy; but when I began to see inches and pounds disappear I of course was very pleased with the added bonus. I am totally amazed at how it is helping me and at how great I feel. I am hooked and a true believer! I have told a lot of people about it and what it’s done for me…”
I am absolutely thrilled!
“I bought [another program’s] tapes over a year ago and thought that the breathing was potentially dangerous, especially for someone with any undiagnosed heart problems. I was almost going to give it another try when I saw the Oxycise! infomercial. I FINALLY got my kit and am absolutely thrilled! I am temporarily disabled with a shattered right heel and have been sitting around feeling like a lump for almost a month. Today, I did the workout all the way through for the first time (got my kit 2 days ago), and modified the positions that I can’t do right now (anything standing). I feel wonderful! I love the breathing technique, although I mastered it so quickly that I’m concerned I’m not doing it right! (grin) I strongly recommend this for anyone with any kind of disability as I think it is so easy to modify for one’s needs! I’ll be posting progress as I go!”

Update:
“…I can’t remember all the exact numbers, but I started about 2 weeks ago, I think. Anyway, starting weight was around 185. Today, I was 175.5. I’m down 2.5 inches on my hips, 1.5 inches off my abs, 2 inches from my waist and 1/2 inch from my thigh (I’m only measuring the left one because the right one is atrophied a little, so it doesn’t count). Now, I should also say that my appetite has been in the hopper since the accident, BUT I credit Oxycise! with a LOT of it! Now, also, re: the pounds down, take into consideration that I had a 3 lb cast on my leg which is no longer there. But still, almost 7 lbs is pretty darn good! I have the moves memorized and just use the card and do the exercises while I’m watching TV. As to how I do this with a shattered heel, I modify. For example, I don’t do ‘rip the floor’. I do another arm exercise instead. Instead of doing the ‘bar’ exercises (standing behind the chair), I do those on my bed on my hands and knees and just extend the appropriate leg back or to the side, depending on the exercise. I do all the pec presses sitting and the other wall exercises on my left foot. I’m getting really good at balancing! So, that’s how I do it…”
It isn’t rocket science – Oxygen is a key component in the metabolic cycle.
I started doing Oxycise! every day from my bed
I have good news to report. After losing 20 lbs in 3 months, I fell and broke my hip. I felt my weight loss program was over. I e-mailed Dr. Larriann Gillespie, author of ‘ The Goddess Diet’ and ‘ The Menopause Diet’, for help. She suggested Oxycise! I ordered Level 1 and started doing Oxycise! every day from my bed and W/C. There were many positions I could not do, so I did more of those that I could do. I am thrilled to report that 3 months after breaking my hip, I have lost another 20 lbs. Now there are only a few positions that I can’t do. I plan on making Oxycise! a lifelong habit. Thank you so much for this wonderful program.
This is the one thing I can do that makes me feel better
I’m truly convinced that the Oxycise! breaths . . . helped relieve my pain.
I’m into my third week of Oxycise! I love it. I am so out of shape and this is the one thing I can do that makes me feel better and better the more I do. I’m eating much healthier also and have lost 9 inches and 8 pounds.
Today I took a drive to a city one hour away and for the first time, used my Oxycise! commuter routine in the car. While away, I fell and hurt myself terribly. Most of the pain was in my left foot, the same foot and ankle that I broke badly in a fall only 2 years ago. I got help to my car, called home, and headed for the one hour drive to my hometown hospital.
Driving home, I Oxycised nearly the whole way, only using the breathing without any special positions. I know fueling our cells with oxygen is one of the most healing things our bodies can do for us, so to help curb my pain and nervousness, I decided to just BREATHE my way to the hospital. When I got there, I wasn’t in nearly as much pain as I had two years ago when I broke my foot.
The x-rays showed a fracture, and here I sit with my temporary cast and crutches, telling all of you this. I’ve been sabotaged before when starting a new program. I’ve had 3 back operations and each one of them closely followed a new exercise regimen. Oxycise! is so wonderful! I know, even in a cast, I can do my Oxycises every day by simply adjusting the routine a bit to protect my poor left foot.
Actually, now I’ll have more time. I’m truly convinced that the Oxycise! breaths taken for that hour-long trip have helped relieve my pain. It’s going to take me a long long time to lose my weight, but it’s going to be so much easier doing so while feeling good.
Thanks Jill and Oxycise!
