Thank-you soooo much for thinking about us seniors
“Hi, Just a short message about Oxycise! I started Oxycise! about a month ago and I feel firmer in my legs and arms. I haven’t lost any weight yet, but I’m hopeful, and I have lost inches. I would like to see Jill make more ‘Easy Does It’ videos. I can keep up with the pace and I also like the three segments. Thank-you soooo much for thinking about us seniors.”
It is worth every penny and then some
“This is my first week working with my Oxycise! workout. Right now I am concentrating only on the breathing part so when I really get into it I will have no doubt that I am breathing right. I am one of those who has just about everything wrong with them, but already I am breathing much better only after one week. I am 68 years old and I am still trying to bowl and I am happy to say that already I can bowl three games now without getting tired on the third game I am so glad I found you on my computer, and I can honestly say I will be during this excise program until I can no longer manage to do it. I am also diabetic and already I can see a difference in my blood sugar reading and it is in my favor. LUV IT, LUV IT LUV IT!!!!!!!
“It is worth every penny and then some.”
Thanks so much for the great new start!
“I am 78 years of age, have taught piano for over 55 years and supported my family until they became adults and parents in their own right; have led a sedentary lifestyle for the most part, since I haven’t got out much to meet new friends since moving to the northwest 14 years ago. I moved north from Carmel, CA where one can walk safely all around the mile square village, to the Seattle area, where I don’t feel happy going out alone at night, and the weather is not conducive to walking much of the time.
“My girlfriends are all in their forties, mostly mothers of my piano students, and have husbands who need them at home in the evenings. I feel very much at home with all of them, in fact, feel more their age than my own. I don’t, however, feel ‘at home’ with my physical self since gaining enough to need size 18-20! I’ve always found it very natural and easy to do things for others, to care for others and to spend time and money on others; but it has not been my way concentrate on what I need. Since finding Oxycise! on TV, and sending for the Level 1, book and commuter audio, things are changing, as you see above, and as I train myself to remember to breathe each time I sit or stand still, I have lost pounds, lost the tendency to yawn a lot, begun to tighten and found more inspiration to do fun things for myself.
“Thanks so much for the great new start! I’ve always known that, as Shakespeare said, ‘As we think, so are we.’ Well, thinking ‘Breeaatthhe…’ adds the frosting–ooops!…delight–to the cake of life!”
I look trimmer, my jeans are a little looser, and I feel more energetic!
I have had the ‘Easy Does It‘ starter set for about a month and recently received the Levels 2 and 3 tapes to provide me with a little variety.
I weigh 140 lbs. and am 5’6″ tall with very good carriage. I’m not looking to lose much, because I think at age 82, I am at my best fighting weight. Have never thought scrawny old ladies were particularly attractive.
My arthritic knees decided about 6 years ago that I should stop my Jazzercise classes. If I hadn’t had my yoga (been doing it for over 45 years and still attend two classes a week) to fall back on, I may have really gone to pot (small play on words there!). I’ve always used deep yoga breathing to get that oxygen in and to help me sleep, but it’s not as energetic as your method.
Having said that, may I now say that after doing Oxycise! for a few weeks, I am beginning to notice a definite tightening of the areas that needed it. No, I’m sorry, I haven’t been measuring, but I look trimmer, my jeans are a little looser, and I do feel more energetic!
For some of the stretching positions, I have been substituting yoga postures that I feel best utilize the areas of my body that I want to tone. And I love the commuter routine! I visit a shut-in friend about once a week, and she lives 20 minutes away, so I get two of its workouts on those days!!….
You’re more than welcome to use my email if you’d like. I’m hoping in the next several months to have more exciting news to share. Fortunately I have a healthy heart and my blood pressure is fine. It’s just my knees ….. after all that jitter-bugging I did!!
I’m not a small woman (a comfortable size 14), and have never had a protruding tummy. I’m well proportioned, have excellent posture, but have noticed recently that I was getting a little thicker around the middle. I’m certain that Oxycise! is going to take care of that!
BTW about 7 or 8 months ago I was introduced to a bit of incontinence. For some reason, I also had a little difficulty in remembering to do my Kegel exercises daily. Now I simply incorporate them in the ‘lift and tuck’ and Bingo! …. better bladder control!
In these three ‘Easy Does It’ tapes, after I learned the routine, instead of just waiting to start, while Jill explains the position, I go ahead and sneak in a couple of extra breaths. I’m sure I do at least 40 reps per tape! And it’s so easy to do just the diaphragmatic breathing at any time or any place!”
Happy breathing to us all,
Thanks for getting us on the road to better health
“Barbara (56) and I (67) have been Oxycising for about four weeks and have become quite religious about it. We work out to your beginning video and love the setting of firs and snow fields. However, this week we found our own special setting. We were on the beach at DelMar (CA) and it was perfect. We even found a retaining wall for the wall exercises, rock outcroppings and a short wall for chair exercises. Can’t wait to get our tape for the next level. Oh, yes, we have also sold our neighbor on the program and he is thrilled (heart patient). Thanks for getting us on the road to better health.”
If my enthusiasm encourages anyone to try or stick with Oxycise!, I will be happy
“I tell everyone about Oxycise!… My friends tell me I should be on your staff because of my enthusiasm. If my enthusiasm encourages anyone to try or stick with Oxycise!, I will be happy. I think it is simply the best, most upbeat way I have found to get in shape, stay in shape and maintain good health!
“I am probably your number one fan. I also like receiving your encouraging e-mails. Just know that I am doing my part in spreading the word about Oxycise! to anyone who is interested. I just sent a copy to my sister-in-law and my daughter. The truth is, I think telling others about the benefits of Oxycise! is the best gift I could give anyone.
“Yesterday, I sent you a copy of the letter that I give to friends when I give them a copy of Oxycise! The main reason I wrote the letter is that I have friends that do not necessarily need to lose weight, but my personal feeling is that Oxycise! can benefit everyone! I am sure it is the promise of ‘weight loss’ that originally introduces people to Oxycise!–or causes them to buy their first video. But I think it is good for you even if you don’t need to lose weight! It strengthens you to help you cope with the stresses and strains of everyday living. So many folks I know have difficulty with their backs, shoulders, knees and legs. If they would only take the time to do a simple 15-minute Oxycise! routine everyday they would strengthen their muscles and prevent–or help reduce–many of their problems.
“It goes without saying that Jill’s breathing routine is terrific. Many doctors recommend ‘deep breathing’, but none that I have discovered so far have given us a pleasant and easy way to accomplish this. Few people I know would sit for fifteen minutes and just do deep breaths.
“Jill has invented the perfect solution. First, fewer repetitions of each exercise-most of us can manage ‘four’ of anything, but eight to twelve, forget it! Second, the positions and stretches actually distract you from the fact that you are doing deep breathing, so it is not boring. And finally, the desire to breathe correctly distracts you from any positions that might be a bit challenging, so you stick with it.
“On my shelf are several exercise videos that were never used more than once. They were either too silly, too difficult, too boring, or too long. The very first time I tried Jill’s ‘Level One’, I knew that her Oxycise! routine made sense, and would be something that I would not mind doing everyday. I promise you, that it is not even a question in my life. I make time for Oxycise! every morning. And I go through the day feeling great.
“My mother and sister put on weight around their stomach as they got older. I thought this tendency was my genetic destiny. (It is not fun in your fifties to look like you are five months pregnant!) And then I started Oxycise! My stomach muscles became stronger, and my tummy started shrinking. I have only lost about ten pounds, but my body is in better shape and stronger. In debt I am to Oxycise!
“Soon I will order a copy of Oxycise! for my doctor. I really think that physicians should know the many benefits of Oxycise! for their patients. Talk about ‘Preventive Medicine!’ And, if obesity is the number one health problem in our country, women and men desperately need a tool to help them obtain and maintain a healthy weight and stronger body.
“Diets are not the answer to losing weight. Without exception, everyone I know who has lost weight by ‘dieting’ has gained the weight back at the end of the ‘diet.’ Committing to a healthy diet is a worthwhile goal for everyone, but until that happens we all need help to get started losing weight. I think that Jill’s breathing and exercises help you get started, and hopefully for most, a healthier eating pattern will follow. As you get stronger, you feel great, and there is added incentive to feed your body in a nutritious and sensible way.
“And radical exercise programs are not the answer for permanent weight loss either. They may help with weight loss at first, but few people are going to stick to an exercise routine that takes too much time or causes pain. Enter Oxycise! The common sense, easy to stick with approach to a leaner and healthier body!
“Julie, may you and Jill, ‘Have a great day!’ Thanks to Oxycise!, I enjoy a ‘great day’ everyday!
Warm Regards,
Mary R. Miller

Another note from Mary:
“Dear Jill,
“It is always good to hear the experiences of folks who have just discovered OXYCISE! After one year of doing Oxycise! daily, it is time for me to thank you once again for providing anyone who is interested in a stronger body and better health, an exercise routine that is doable. I had tried other exercise videos over the years, but seldom plugged them in more than once. Mostly, they were too long, too hard, too silly, designed for dancers and acrobats who are very limber, or just plain too Hollywood.
“If there were an award for the greatest contribution in physical fitness programs, Jill would win the prize. You have designed a program that EVERYONE can do regardless of their fitness level. You teach us the importance of breathing, and how to breathe. You teach us the positions that will strengthen our muscles and keep our joints flexible. You teach us just how important strong abdominal muscles are–not just for good looks–but for maintaining a strong back.
“Your videos work on strengthening the muscles and joints in every part of the body. After I do my Oxycise! tape every day, I know that I am better prepared to meet the stresses and strains of any activity during the day. And, after doing Oxycise! for one year, I know that this excellent program is the best possible way to maintain strength, flexibility and balance in my senior years.
“I wish I had started Oxycise! at a younger age, but 62 — or any age — is never too late to begin.
“A GREAT BIG THANK YOU!”
