Oxycise! really can change your body and change your life…but many of us still struggle with staying motivated and making that 15-minute workout a daily habit. Here are some strategies that have helped others:
Sarah shared her secret:
“I have a lot of motivation problems myself. One thing that has helped, though, is my ‘ultimatum’ plan. When I’m having a bad day I use it. Basically I divide the 30 reps into 3 groups of 10 reps each, 1 group before lunch, 1 group before dinner, and 1 group before bed. Then I CANNOT eat or go to sleep until I’ve accomplished those 10 reps.
“At times if I’m really unsure of my own accountability, I’ll notify a family member that I’m not allowed to eat or sleep that day until I’ve done my reps. My faithful husband has literally dragged me out of bed and set me to breathing! And somehow having to do just the 10 reps makes what seems like a mountain at first (doing all 30 reps at once) turn into a mole hill for me.”
Anne added:
“When I started O!, I also gave myself a limit – I couldn’t get ready for the day (take a shower, do hair and makeup), before I did O! Sometimes that made for a rush when I dragged my feet, but now it is just a part of the morning routine. In fact, many times I will do O! again in the evening after dinner just because it makes me feel good and relaxed.
“I am still halfway to my goal, but even when I get there, I think O! will continue to be a part of my daily routine. I went on vacation last week and didn’t O! for 5 days. Boy, did I feel sluggish, my chest was more clogged and I gained weight! I learned my lesson, and know I will take the time next time I am on vacation to do the reps! I have the routine memorized, so I have no excuses! As so many people have posted – O! is more than weight loss – it is a way to feel wonderful about yourself no matter where you are in your struggle!”
