There is no more precious element on the face of the earth more essential to life itself than oxygen. Our cells are energized by oxygen for regeneration and oxygen is required for food metabolization and the elimination of toxins and waste.
As one of five elements to sustain life, oxygen has been used in a myriad of ways to heal, including treating bone infections, wounds, carbon-monoxide poisoning, decompression sickness and now the sports field has opened its eyes to increasing oxygen levels to treat athletes.
It comes as no surprise, then, that Oxycise! has helped many during their recovery from injuries and illnesses. This week we received a message from Trish in Maryland who has used Oxycise! for 17 years. It is inspiring to hear how it improved her healing and recovery from a variety of issues.
“I originally started this years ago when I had painful Planters Fasciitis combined with damage to an Achilles Tendon. I was nearly crippled. I was 55 at the time and had started a rigorous exercise program without proper warm ups and stretching. (Avoid maniacal step classes with jumping, etc.) As we age our tendons become less flexible. I had made the mistake of pushing through the pain and didn’t get help until the pain was unbearable.
“I studied biochemistry in school and I thought Jill’s approach was incredibly logical. Injured areas need oxygen to heal but often get less oxygen due to immobility. The breathing and stretching helped me heal and strengthen the impacted areas. I experienced immediate relief and made a complete recovery within 8 to 10 weeks. This is speedy for a tendon injury. I also noted a wonderful sense of relaxation and calm. Since then I have used the techniques to address a number of situations including recovery from weeks in Intensive Care following an emergency heart procedure. Oxycise helped me recover more completely. I believed that bathing the heart in oxygen would help restore its functioning. Of course, only the heart surgeon could restore the rhythm but Oxycise helped me regain health and vitality. Today I go to spinning classes and have tons of energy. My pacemaker starts every beat but my healthier, stronger heart does a better job circulating oxygen. The beat is strong again.
“I am now a very young 72. I am downloading the link because I am going digital! While I can do the work without a tape or link, using the tools helps me stay focused and go through a complete breathing and stretching routine without distraction. I will keep you posted.
“Did I lose inches and pounds? Yes but my focus was health and strength. None of us know how long we have to live but each of us came make the choice to live each day to the max. Thanks Jill.”
